Coming from pixel 4 xl, and prior to that pixel 2 xl. Haven't had a samsung in something like 4 years. I'm enjoying the flip and the new samsung one ui. I think i'm liking it more so far but i'll figure it out in a couple weeks. I've been more than pleased so far with my flip 3.
I have had mine for 3 days and I CAN'T put it down. I've seen tons of
videos where they say the camera is inferior but I don't see anything
wrong with it. My pics are clear as a bell. I came from a Note 20 Ultra
and I still have it but for now, I will be using this for a while. I
love the fact it's compact after it's folded. The only complaint I have
is the damned battery. It takes too long to charge and I bought the
wireless charger that comes with it and it's extremely slow. I watch
youtube videos all day at work and I have to recharge it by 1pm and once
I plug it in, it takes over an hour to almost get full charge from 44%.
My Note 20 would last me from 9 until almost 6pm with continuous use
all day and once I plugged it in, within 30 mins it's almost full. This
thing is EXTREMELY SLOW to charge even with a fast charger. This is
the most fun phone I've owned and I didn't even notice the crease from
the beginning.
I bought the Samsung 45w super fast charger usb-c charger from Best Buy. It charges the phone really fast for me!
@@ciarapettis22 I thought the flip3 tops out at 15w, I wouldn't think that changing charge cable would make much of a difference. How much time does it take to fully charge once dead/almost dead?
100% agreed. I am from Note 20 Ultra as well. The only complain battery capacity and time to full charged. 🤣🤣🤣
@@ciarapettis22 still the same, it takes 1 hour 30 minutes to full charged Z Flip because limit at 15watt. I have 45watt samsung charger.

Moved from I-phone 11 pro (been using I-phone since 4s) moved to z flip 3, love it, battery lasts me 2 days, medium user. love the innovation of the flip, great job. Unable to get dark mode on all apps even with developer mode on, this is my only query with the phone.
I switched from iPhone 12 mini my comes tomorrow can’t wait !

I’m thinking about getting this phone too but I’ve only ever owned Apple devices! Currently on my iPhone 8 and I’ve been thinking this one looks pretty good, how’s it been swapping over from Apple to this specific Samsung?

First thing I did was set up the quick setting panel so it would come down wherever you swiped on the phone as it's such a tall phone so now I can swipe it down near the bottom next thing I did was set up a custom video of my pug playing when I got a phone call .Great video very informative thanks 👍

Thank you so much, this was extremely helpful. I am having one BIG issue and it's with the DO NOT DISTURB while in the car. I only use Waze while driving and am able to answer hands free. It keeps going into DND even if I am the passenger. Everything I have read I have tried but this issue is driving me crazy. I would like to disable this feature permanently. Can you help??

I am trying to get bubble notification set up. I followed the directions but don't have the "Show as bubble" option. I also have z flip 3
Flip3 Cover screen not showing text messages: In "Settings", "Notifications", I have it set as "Detailed".
In "Lock Screen", "Notifications," I have it set as "Details" and the "Hide content" is unchecked.
In "App notifications", I have it checked for "All notifications"

Hi there thanks for the info.. I have been looking to find a feature that has gone completley from the menu at the top of the phone, when I first started useing the Z3 flip there was an option to select what you wanted to open when closing the phone "either the last app used, the home screen, or select an app" has anyone else had this issue I have spoken to Samsung who say it must have been deleted!

lol you completely skipped over the font size and screen zoom...I am trying to see what they are set at as default out of the box.

THANKS FOR THE INFORMATIVE VIDEO. I have just upgraded from a S20+ to the Galaxy Z Flip 3, and for some reason I have to have my Data on to send and receive MMS it won't work via WIFI ? I have never had this issue before until the Galaxy Z Flip. Does anyone know how to fix this?
How do I maintain the keyboard ON while on the phone (telephoning) to make key responses eg: "if this is a doctor's office dial 2, if you want to refill dial 3, if you want the pharmacy dial 6 or stay on the line (join the queue)" My screen goes black when picking up.

Id suggest using a ringtone app and picking something thats like a minute long so it doesnt "loop"

The very first thing I do with a new Samsung phone is to enable Developer Mode and tweak the speed of animations and such so as to speed up the phone and use less power then I choose left handed mode.

You can do this with Bixby Routines, trigger is screen fold, then the result is show always for always on display

Nice Vid. I really like my Flip 3...
but i miss the simplicity of using a Pixel. Like when i connect to public hotspot, it automatically connects via vpn. After 2 yrs, i bet I'm going back to Pixel. I am a lazy phone user, do not really download much of anything. A foldable Pixel? That will be outta this world
I went under auto fill and the only option the phone gives me is Samsung pass...
Update: I found it, I did a search from within settings.
Helpful but need to try harder to hold the phone still. Getting dizzy.
I returned my Flip3. The battery was not good enough, even after 3 days. It was not the worst I have dealt with, but when thinking of the price. The camera was really good, I was impressed with it. The build is excellent. About 4 hours screen time was my best at 60Hz screen setting. I almost kept it, it was close.
Android does takes a few days before it "programs" your habits and makes better use of the battery. The first few days it will be the worse than once it "programs" its self. Maybe you shoulda gave it a couple more days to see if it would have settled at a higher screen time life. I do agree so far, that is going to be the limit, i'm gonna have to start taking a battery pack with me more often than not, coming from a pixel 4xl.
You didn't give your battery enough time to optimize. Battery is NOT for everyone, but it's not awful.
Chapters would be nice. This is verbose to review and send to my sister who is new to android.
Biggest annoyance of my flip 3 so far: I can’t change the icon shape anymore. Using good lock you can kind of do it but it gives them this horrid white drop shadow and does a bad job of adapting the icon to a different shape as well.
same on my Note20 Ultra. Can't change shape or icon at all, kind of a bummer.
@@mickeyB6453 yeah I was never a fan of Samsung's squircles. There's a LOT of customization on this phone, but this was a glaring omission.
I use Nova launcher. Seems to work great on the flip 3

Why are the brightness and colors much worse than on my old s9. Both phones are Set to Max brithness but the flip 3 ist much dimmer

Is the battery really THAT bad or is it just not as good as the others?

is there a way with the z-flip 3 to enable it to "always show images" when opening an email that has pictures? I'm tired of having to click "show images" every time.
The picture might be too small if it did that
@@PrinceJes the phone automatically sizes the picture or image after you hit "show images." Setting it to automatically show images shouldn't impact that function at all.

Maybe you can help me. Somehow I've managed to. Make the permanent display for the status bar dark mode so now I can't see it & can't find a setting for it. It's not in the regular dark mode or display or even accessibility settings. Driving me mad. Any ideas? Can't see the battery level without pulling down the menu

Constructive criticism, there are a ton of "uhhh" and "umm". It is very noticeable when listening in 1.5 speed. Maybe you can edit them out write out what your going to says. Just friendly advice.
