5'5 Trae Jefferson gives his best Allen Iverson Impersonation - Las Vegas Super 64

  • Demontrae Jefferson in the 5 games we watched in Las Vegas averaged over 37 pts with a 45 point game the kicker is he's only 5'5. Trae is an athletic scoring point guard who put on amazing Allen Iverson Esque scoring performances (3 40+ point games). Jefferson is a sophomore (2915) and plays for the Milwaukee Rebels next to Kevon Looney.
Trae also led his team to championship of Adidas Super64 before falling to New Heights
Of course Trae also drew comparisons to Aquille carr what do you guys think?

I always say if your that short, it’s fantastic you have the athletic ability to do what you do, but the catch is he would need to be an even greater passer than scorer, and then let his athletic abilities shock people once in a one while...thats the only way he will make it into the NBA... the NBA is getting taller....so being an even greater passer than he already is would be best for him
    still, great potential

He looks and plays like Nate Robinson with better handles. With at least a half of foot of growth and Nate Robinson work ethic/passion for the game, NBA potential.

As some 1 who watched 2 of these games LIVE, including the Adidas Super 64 Championship, I think it should be noted that both teams I saw ZONED up (in high level AAU...that very rarely happens) nearly the entire game because NOBODY could keep dude in front. 40+ & 35+ points in the ship (not to mention 40+ on Stephen Zimmerman's Dream Vision (LV) a few days prior. Dude may not be a pass 1st pg, but he is legit. Think Jerome Randle (Cal) meets Iverson.

Yea you're right. he will be fine. AI played shooting guard & AI was 6'0" on a good day. Nate Robinson has played sg before in the league too so i see no difference. Trae still has room to grow and he will get in the weight room sooo... At least you'll have a pg that can score anytime he wants to consistently just like D-Rose & Westbrook but accept smaller. Size doesn't matter.

Not sure his %...but I know I watched him put up 42 & 30+ points on two very good AAU teams (after putting 40 on Dream Vision out of Vegas) at the Adidas Super 64. Both teams zoned up for the majority of the game, mainly because no 1 could stay in front of Trae.
