I rly think that sometimes the longform stuff-haul-review stuff is good tbh. I like to know what I'm buying before I fork out money - youtubers like you can get stuff through PR and deduct stuff as business expenses, and I can't. I'm not like, pro consumerism but I am pro responsible buying, and having people who can review stuff well is important for that.

You're supposed to stir all potted gels! This is so the photoinitiators (the molecule responsible for curing) is incorporated evenly as well as the pigment. I also believe this is why your orange color was more tan the first time then when you tried again you can see the wiped off gel was mostly orange pigment while the swatch tile was tan still. Try giving them a stir with a polygel paddle or something similar and try again. Hope this helps!

Finally the Korean product haul you’ve been teasing!!! I’m bummed for you that you’re having issues with the Dgel paints…I have so many and they are my faves. One thing u could try is mixing them up really well each time before you use them- they do separate sometimes so I’m wondering if maybe you got a separated portion of gel on your brush? I dunno but Sweetie is great so I’m sure they will help you fix this problem cuz those gels are expensive! ❤ P.S….and I kept watching and see that u eventually realize this for yourself 🤦♀️ what could the problem be????

Wow you just clearly explained how I feel after getting nail mail! Serotonin boost that makes me immediately start adding to cart! So glad it’s not just me! I’m really loving your videos! You are so creative and fun! Just a few hints - try to not put pressure on your handpiece as it can damage the barrel. Best to remove the bit and then remove and put on your new file bit. Also if you run the drill and then let it rub against your hand file, it’s easier to season it that way! Hope it helps a little bit! Keep smashing these videos!
I love Sweetie Nail Supply for Korean gels! The Bunny Chu collection is definitely one of my favs 🥰 The products are expensive but worth it, in my opinion. I see it as a splurge, a little treat for myself 😅 I think as long as you are budgeting and using the products, it's okay to get things! For the gel not curing, do you have another lamp to try? I recently invested in a professional grad because it has multiple types of bulbs that emit different wavelengths of light. I'd been doing a lot of research on the science behind gel, and supposedly different gels cure under different wavelengths (hence uv and led), so a lamp that does both will cure most gels! But it may also have been a faulty product, hard to say. Sorry for the wall of text!
Don't apologize for buying supplies, even if you spend thousands, your channel is dedicated to nails, its a business expense. matter of fact I hope that if your channel is monetized that you're saving your receipts to your supplies for a tax write off. While I would never spend the amounts you do myself, I don't have a nail channel lol but I do spend quite a bit, more than I should.

The Dgel painting gels are actually for character designs or small details which is why they are so small, they will last long time as long as you don't use it for all the nails. You might have a faulty product tho so I would reach out to them.
I love your hair here and those skully scrunchies! Too cute! How are your natural nails doing? Looks like they are growing out OK? I like the crazy top, too - took me a bit to get used to it, but it's great for the ocean and water designs for sure! It also reminds me of the D-Gel Honey Top and Base, which I still have but they discontinued it which made me sad. Not only was it cute but it was my favorite formula!

I think the issue with the dgels might be that you are doing too thick of layers. The little goes a long way is true. The dgels are liner like gels which mean they are thicker and kind of hard to move around. It will definitely take longer to cure them/wont cure if you use the thick layers like you did in this video. You really do need to use very very VERY thin layers. But these are just some suggestions. I actually have my Cos license so this is just what my take/learning taught me. I swear I’m not trying to sound rude or like a know it all 😅😅😅 I love the set and the colors are just chefs kiss 🤌🤌🤌 Amazing video as always Anne!!! Much love ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Finally the Korean product haul you’ve been teasing!!! I’m bummed for you that you’re having issues with the Dgel paints…I have so many and they are my faves. One thing u could try is mixing them up really well each time before you use them- they do separate sometimes so I’m wondering if maybe you got a separated portion of gel on your brush? I dunno but Sweetie is great so I’m sure they will help you fix this problem cuz those gels are expensive! ❤ P.S….and I kept watching and see that u eventually realize this for yourself 🤦♀️ what could the problem be????

I’m really loving your videos! You are so creative and fun! Just a few hints - try to not put pressure on your handpiece as it can damage the barrel. Best to remove the bit and then remove and put on your new file bit. Also if you run the drill and then let it rub against your hand file, it’s easier to season it that way! Hope it helps a little bit! Keep smashing these videos!

I love Sweetie Nail Supply for Korean gels! The Bunny Chu collection is definitely one of my favs 🥰 The products are expensive but worth it, in my opinion. I see it as a splurge, a little treat for myself 😅 I think as long as you are budgeting and using the products, it's okay to get things!
For the gel not curing, do you have another lamp to try? I recently invested in a professional grad because it has multiple types of bulbs that emit different wavelengths of light. I'd been doing a lot of research on the science behind gel, and supposedly different gels cure under different wavelengths (hence uv and led), so a lamp that does both will cure most gels! But it may also have been a faulty product, hard to say. Sorry for the wall of text!

Don't apologize for buying supplies, even if you spend thousands, your channel is dedicated to nails, its a business expense. matter of fact I hope that if your channel is monetized that you're saving your receipts to your supplies for a tax write off. While I would never spend the amounts you do myself, I don't have a nail channel lol but I do spend quite a bit, more than I should.

The Dgel painting gels are actually for character designs or small details which is why they are so small, they will last long time as long as you don't use it for all the nails. You might have a faulty product tho so I would reach out to them.
9:12 u need to mix them up first before using them a lot of times the pigment separates from the gel
Mix the entire pot not just the lid
I love your hair here and those skully scrunchies! Too cute! How are your natural nails doing? Looks like they are growing out OK? I like the crazy top, too - took me a bit to get used to it, but it's great for the ocean and water designs for sure! It also reminds me of the D-Gel Honey Top and Base, which I still have but they discontinued it which made me sad. Not only was it cute but it was my favorite formula!

I think the issue with the dgels might be that you are doing too thick of layers. The little goes a long way is true. The dgels are liner like gels which mean they are thicker and kind of hard to move around. It will definitely take longer to cure them/wont cure if you use the thick layers like you did in this video. You really do need to use very very VERY thin layers. But these are just some suggestions. I actually have my Cos license so this is just what my take/learning taught me. I swear I’m not trying to sound rude or like a know it all 😅😅😅 I love the set and the colors are just chefs kiss 🤌🤌🤌 Amazing video as always Anne!!! Much love ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
