You are making a huge assumption that she hasn’t taken him to a doctor. Not everything is an easy fix. My dad had dandruff like this. No shampoo helped and there isn’t a magic pill. Give grace.

It's not dandruff anyway it's sebboric dermatitis and it's an auto immune disease. Things can try to control it but there is no cure
