Johm 3:30 that is a different way of looking at that scripture, i like that. God is in control because he is greater and i am not. Application: i must be less in my ways of controlling my life bc i am less then He who holds my life.

Hey! First, I want to say: I enjoy this series so much. I found your channel a few days ago and since have started rereading John. I want to offer some clarity on why Nicodemus came to Jesus at night. During those times, Jews did not believe that Jesus was the Messiah. For someone to go against that, they would be pushed out of the community and separated from their family. For a Jewish Teacher like Nicodemus, he would have been killed if other jews knew he was talking to Jesus or starting to believe that he was the Messiah. Hope this helps!🙂

Thank you for this. I am subscribed to a lot of different channels that teach about God. Your channel is like a breath of fresh air and really appeals to me. Of course I am biased because I chose to work through your study of John which is my favorite book in the bible. You also have a wonderful ability to add meaningful comments that help to give perspective to the book of John without interrupting or taking anything away from the story.
Please keep this series going I have never really seen videos that grasp my attention like yours do like i get easily distracted by random stuff but on your channel I’m not getting distracted until my notes are done for the day and I split each video into a couple verses so I csn wrote everything you say about them down and really understand what the verse is saying so thank you so much and please keep this series going it really does help me and you have so much talent. I am currently in the book of John as well. When reading about the water and the Spirit, this verse comes to mind. Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish. ( Just shared this for the purpose of showing the washing of the water with the word Also the Spirit uses the word to speak. Faith comes by hearing and hearing comes by the word of God. Another verse in scripture says you are already clean because of the words I have spoken to you. ( Just thought I share )
