I love watching your videos! ❤ I have lived in New Brunswick for 6 years, yet I get new information from your videos every time I watch them. Keep it up, girl!!!
Calgary is the only major affordable city for current and future generations Canadians and Immigrants. I am seeing many of my friends and family moving to Calgary who work from home. None can live on expensive rents in Ontario or BC. Calgary also has growing tech and film industry
Good info on both provinces. Though it's just not complete. You missed housing, real estate, security (most important), drugs and homelessness. Calgary and Edmonton are now slowly transforming into Toronto and Vancouver with many immigrating there. In a few years, low tax will be it's only lone main advantage. Talking of the future, NB can become more like AB in 5-10 years. Speaking of family friendly place, NB might be a better choice, especially for children to grow if you prefer a simple, slow and safe life. City life is not much of an advantage for most. Don't you think so?
I just came across your channel and it has been insightful for me. I am really considering NB. Thank you for the good job. I don't mind a video on NBPNP. Well done ma'am.
Thanks for this video. My only issue with new Brunswick is that they mainly give nominations based on job fairs. Let's see how it goes. Good to see someone putting info out there.🤗. My family is considering Saskatchewan, but we don't mind changing. We will see how things play out.
Thanks for stopping by Wosilat. There are different ways to immigrate to New Brunswick which I'll be sharing on the go. That been said, I'll say start the process of evaluating your education and writing your ielts. Different opportunities open up and as long as you are prepared, you will be ready when any opportunity comes up. Thanks 😊
Thanks for this video. Have you got any tips on how best to pick a school in Moncton? Do they have some sort of ranking? Is your son enrolled in a French-Immersion Program? Merci d'avance
Great question Ugochukwu, we don't have some sort of school ratings here in Moncton, except for google reviews which can be subjective. What most people consider in choosing a school is the neighborhood. I'll make a video on this soon, it's a great question, thanks
All the schools are good and are of the same standard. They determine the child's class based on current age even if it's just 2 days to the next birthday. If you are an English language speaker, it is advisable to enrol the kids in a French-Immersion where they mix both English and French when teaching.
New Brunswick is not really noted for education. It tends to work the same as in most cities, in nicer neighbourhoods they have nicer schools, not quite so nice in others. That doesn't necessarily mean much about the teachers but usually that follows. Dieppe and Riverview are the wealthier suburbs of Moncton, although they are adamant that they are their own town and city. Moncton itself is fairly grungey in areas off downtown, while North Moncton are nicer developments, as well as eastern developments. Rural areas often have trouble getting french immersion programs, but around Moncton its not so much, its I think the ONLY bilingual city in the country.
I'm thinking about moving to Moncton too, but now the rent price has gone up like Crazy. Here in Ontario, all Ontario is expensive, I'm not happy there, I'm mad, I hate Ontario, I was born in a wrong place and wrong time. Things gone unaffordable here in all of Ontario. Now Moncton, Fredericton and Saint John New Brunswick is one of most affordable one in Canada especially for young adults if you exclude Quebec
Housing is most affordable, but we have no rental controls so rents have been going crazy. Housing is going up as well, but still nothing like ontario.
Alberta is way too cheaper than New Brunswick and Moncton there’s no enough jobs over there especially Healthy care benefits it’s very difficult to get it covered in Moncton and New Brunswick Alberta is the only places to live that is covered to every family! And the houses and apartments is way too cheaper for rent in Alberta please don’t more to New Brunswick or Moncton Albertans found it so hard living there! I don’t mean to be disappointed or disrespectful or anything but it’s true I can’t lied to you guys! My son father lives in Moncton New Brunswick and he was born there and his family members living there but i decided to live in Alberta than New Brunswick I disagreed with this video until I go and visit New Brunswick and Moncton with my own eyes!
Summer is beautiful in both cities. But I like it more here in Moncton, we have so many beaches around which makes summer more enjoyable if you like going to the beach ⛱
If your husband finally got a job in new Brunswick after Searching in Alberta, it means that that Alberta economy actually is hard to find a job there?
Hi R-man. Thanks for stopping by. I'll say it depends on the profession. I got a job within the second month we relocated to Alberta. But for my husband, it took him a little while.
Yes Alberta is an oil province so the problem when oil prices fall jobs become scarce or retrenchment increases. I lived in SW Calgary for four years so I am also looking at New Brunswick or Nova Scotia. Although I think Alberta is more expensive than New Brunswick. It's just because Alberta is the only province that doesn't pay provincial tax and it's just federal tax. Would like to know more about Moncton since more familiar with Saint John and Fredericton. Thank you for the information.
Good information.Dear sis, I want to find out something .Since it's so difficult to get a family doctor in the province, how do they manage pregnant women and infants. If one is pregnant and has no family doctor, can ante natal be done at the walk in clinics, then for delivery ,immunisation etc for the new born does it get attended to at d walk in clinics or Do the province give pregnant women and infants priority for health services .Is it possible you do a video to address this or you can reply to explain. Thanks for d good work you are doing.God bless u greatly. You are impacting lives .
Congratulations 👏. You'll love it here, though you may miss Calgary during your first few months, but overtime You'll love it here. And thank you for taking the job offer at the hospital to support our health care system here 😊

Hi Gourav, thanks for stopping by on this channel. Yes English speaker can survive in New Brunswick. I speak only English and no issues at all here. Speaking French is an advantage though because its the second language in this province. Hope this helps 😊

God bless you Kemi. The choice I have to make is between moncton and Calgary. Please how extreme is the weather in Alberta compared to moncton
Thanks for sharing 😍!
Hi. How's safety in NB for family. And is there racism

Awesome videos but can’t agree that Alberta cheaper than New Brunswick, check prices on properties and salaries, but of course each to their own
Alberta has no sales tax, so theres that.
Properties are more costlier in alberta . Groceries are costlier in NB . Pay is higher in alberta .

Yes there is. You can Google food bank in Moncton to get the address and hours of operations
Good job sis.
I was looking out for climate comparison between the 2 cities eg. Summer-Winter comparison, how warm? how cold? etc.
