For those who might be interested in the lyrics and meaning of this song:
“Amanita muscaria” refers to a psychoactive mushroom.
“Bombalaya” is derived from the Spanish word “bombolear” which means “to sway.”
“Espiritu” is the Spanish word for “spirit.”
So this song is essentially about being under the influence of the hallucinogenic fly agaric mushroom.
Sway with me “mi amor” (my love) in the blue waves. Sway with “mi espiritu” (my spirit). Come and dance espiritu. Bombalaya. (“She sways.”)

Amanita muscaria is not the magic mushroom, that would be psilocybe cubensis, its Fly agaric also a psychedelic mushroom but only when processed properly

@@justasgaidajus4728 when I wrote “magic” I was equating the word to “psychoactive” which it is, even when consumed raw. I suppose there can be more than one magic mushroom in that sense, although the one you mentioned is certainly the one most commonly used recreationally and medicinally, at least in USA. So yes, I’d agree that’s more so the colloquial “magic mushroom.” But, the fly agaric in particular has an interesting history and seems to have been popular for ritual use by ancient ancestors all over the world. And of course, we see this red and white toadstool throughout global pop culture, from Mario Bros to Alice in Wonderland and beyond!
