Thanks for the input! Really appreciate it! I have tried both builders and I agree with you. There is one thing that Kadence did better, much better in fact, is the speed. Even without any plugins, a page built using Kadence scored 80-90s on Good Page Insight on the mobile, desktop was consistently in the 90s. Elementor needs cache plugins and a lot of work stripping down the fat to do that.
Great review! I have very limited experience with building websites. I have used Elementor in the past and was reluctant to try something new for a website I am putting together for my church. I must say I found your review spot on. I used the Kadence free starter template and I’m impressed with the quality of the template and how relatively easy it has been to use. The page builder is not as intuitive as Elementor, but because of the quality of the template, all I need to do so far is change images and content. Thanks, your review has been helpful.
Thanks for the video and comparison. Regarding post template - you used the expression "tricky" when describing the couple extra clicks to get the dynamic image. Hardly difficult. I'd take speed, value for money and integration with WordPress blocks as the key benefit of Kadence. Elementor, Divi and other builders will eventually die as WordPress / Kadence adds more and more of these types of tools to blocks system and other places like customizer. (I'm also a Divi user but use it less and less replacing many projects with Kadence). Thank you for sharing.
Nice, thank you for that interesting comparison video. I would be super interested to see also your opinion on the comparison between elementor and the bricks page/theme builder :)
Nope, if you're new to site builders, rather use Elementor. It's less of a headache. If your site is going to be basic, like a landing page or portfolio, then Elementor. If your site will be content heavy, then use Kadence. Use the free Blocks/Pages.
What are your thoughts on Kadence?

Is Kadence easy to use for a newbie like myself? I don't want to pay anything for now. Do I need Kadence theme and Kadence blocks?

Hi Web Monkey, please make a video review about the awesome Greenshift - animation and page builder blocks. It is really worth a try.

Yes I will do that soon :-)
Thanks for this. With thrive screwing us over I really need to get out. I wish these would import content.
