2024 G3 1860 project Jon Boat, installing the center console.

I used about 2/3 tube of 5200 and six rivets to attach the center console to the boat floor. The rivets go through the .125” sheet aluminum flange on each side of the console, the .125” floor, and .1” rib (x3). I have to finish the shelf that will hold the start battery. This thing goes to get the outboard engine installed tomorrow. I’m going to swing by the scale and weigh it on the way to drop it off. It weighed #400 lbs before I started modifying it. I wonder how muck weight I added ? Maybe #150 lbs ?

Are you going to add a door on the access panel for the battery compartment?
