[AMA Series 017] Website Creation List

Today's question is from Wayne and it says:
Can you please give a short list of the necessary steps in the correct order to start a website and the providers, if any, that you think are easiest or cheapest for people starting up. Like: domain name, hosting company, but what next? For affiliate blogging or coaching. Thanks.
Here are my notes:
It’s been a while since I don’t purchase new domains and hostings so I’m not up to date to the easiest or cheapest… But I’ve been using for years a local Catalan company called CDMON and I’m really pleased with them. They aren’t the cheapest that’s for sure, but their 24/7 customer service makes it worth it.
Steps:
- deciding CRM (Wordpress.org my fav)
- domain - based on previous decision
- hosting (same company if possible)
- installing CRM if needed
- website map (structure, links)
- branding (colors, fonts & image aesthetic)
- main pages structure
- design home page
- design services page
- design contact page
- design about page
