@@FlyBy2507 Agree. How can Normandy be Normandy without the Typhoon and 109G? Others like the P 47 and Mossie thrown in as the more "fancied". I do admit to enjoy flying the Mossie though...
Thank you for your videos. Is there a possibility you could show us how to use the editor effectively for the WWII assets pack. Having difficulty controlling any vehicles.
Hopefully somebody can help me out with a simple (I hope) question. Don’t the two fusing options on the bomb panel also affect detonation, i.e. the nose fuse being instant, and the tail fuse having a slight delay?
yes but the slight delay is not noticabale as human^^ it is not a "time delay" that delay the explosion for couple seconds. it just "delays" the explosion until the bomb penetrated the surface. but it will look like an instant explosion for the human eye
Any word down the pipeline of wing cannons and functional homing on the 109 / AI navigator for the Mossie? Regardless always amazing, thanks for the updates!
Is their a good replacement yet? I've literally stopped playing multiplayer ever since it was shut down. I play IL-2 a bit more often as well and I find myself on 'triple-A' normal game's more often. It's sad. I put a lot of time in that server as plenty of other's have. I heard that their may be two good WWII server's on DCS now. But I'm yet to try them. Although I have my purchased WWII campaigns in DCS to look forward to still. I think it's been seven months now. I even used the server to practice and learn a plane on, when they weren't busy. It had it's cheaters though. And I recorded every one that disconnected in flight at very convenient times.
@@British-Dragon-Simulations yes there is and its similar to the the Storm of War server! On the eveningtime its very active, especialy on the weekend with up to 40 players.
Ey nice video Suntsag, the bomb fusing is a game changer, but I've got a question. On the German bombs, what is the Vz setting on the far right in the GUI? Is it a selectable option in the cockpit like Ov, or is it just a component of the fuse?
One thing I would love to see improved is the hydraulic pressure needle when starting the aircraft P-47D. It jumps from 0psi to 800psi. This bothers me deeply. It loses all realism.
I wish all those choices was not made within those ugly pop up windows but with a more impressive way like a better thematic menu or in a base shelter with some basic animation or something. In 2020s I really wanted to see something better than things we had 20 years ago.
@@pilotabsolut3129 See what I mean, I share a view, and this guy says 'not true', this is the type of person who ruins the game for others.. Sorry for having an opinion.. Id say see you soon, but I definitely wont be..
WW-2 in DCS is almost as dead as the progress DCS is making in WW-2 Assets. No one cares anymore and the ones that did allready switched to IL-2! I could list up so many problems with DCS and the WW-2 AI Assets allone, like for example Bombers turning in Formation warp like UFO's with anti gravity engines and these B-17 that have Ailleron Authority like a F-16. Not to mention the unfinished Dora, that still quit's to work with perfect Engine Settings out of the Handbook. Too many cooks make the soup sour. In IL-2 you get a new plane almost every month and it works as intended. It does not carry Bombs that you can not even drop. The only thing in DCS that is better is that you have completely (well almost) clickable Cockpit's. But if you want that I suggest going to MSFS2020 because DCS is supposed to simulate combat realistically and not every button in the VC. Fact: If you want realistic and dynamic WW-2 Combat you better go with a team that made history in that regard since 2001! If you look on the WW-2 Servers in DCS - You may find one that is half filled and the rest empty. If you go for IL-2 you will find Aces with 20 Years of Experience who really fight it out in not only 2 small French Maps but many different European Theatres. You can now even fly WW-1 in IL-2. I AM NOT STARTING ABOUT THE DCS LAG HERE THAT WOULD FILL ANNOTHER CHAPTER OF CRITIQUE! Sorry DCS but you have lost that War long ago.
I remember when Growling Sidewinder used to fly WW2 airplanes on his WW2 server. Those were the days!
Awesome, thanks for the very prompt video on the update, really nice!
Awesome guys, keep up the improvements. It’s looking fantastic, can’t wait for the amazing experience ED and WW2 can deliver.
Sorry but with this incoherent planeset, it's not a very amazing experience.

Isn’t that the Corsair cockpit at the end?
No, it's the P-47.
Its the early Jug, I hope the Corsair aint to far away though.
''The Mosquito now has working fire extinguishers...'' WOOOHOOO. As one not prone to outbursts, I had an outburst.... I was forever getting lit-up.
Reflected Simulations should be happy to see these options for the Mosquito Campaign. I can't wait for that campaign.
Fantastic news on the bomb fusing
Great stuff, love to see improvements and additions made in WWII
Finally they fix the fuse.
Now the Spit's engine overcooling, please.
That's cool, more intuitive than opening a kneeboard to do that type of weapon configuration
Very nice indeed, I especially like the fusing option, Very simple.

Thank you for making this video for us Suntsag.
I wonder why all these missions mentioned are gone from the game now (v2.8.1)
The missions are still selectable and in OB 2.8.1.34437

this pleases me greatly :) great work :)
If youre gonna increase the complexity of payload settings you really need to get a "load symmetric" button in the UI.
Does the bomb fuse options allow for skip bombing boats?
Skip bombing in the 190 is the definitive WW2 experience
Always wanted to do it on the Storm of War server, shame it is gone.

I think you are confused, That zone is not Malvinas/Falklands, that zone is Argentina! For some reason RAZBAN call it South Atlantic!
any new ww2 stuff coming?
Plenty of new bugs coming..

Maybe one day we will get a couple of airplanes that make flying a certain year worth it instead of an amalgamation of junk.
