girl im obsessed w these new vloggy style plant updates please keep them coming 😭 youre my favorite tv show lol
Aw this comment just made my whole week 🥰 starting a new vlog tomorrow - got some new planty stuff! Can’t wait 🌱 thanks for supporting me 🫶🏽
Those are Beautiful Plants April and Very Sweet that the Subscriber sent Them to You; Great Job Simone !! ☺️
I know! I’m very grateful ☺️🌱
That’s not a marble queen pathos it is a manjula pathos. It can grow really huge leaves if you put it on a moss pole. Or you can just leave it to vine and hang☺️. Love your videos April! Yes, keep them coming. Also, can’t wait to see all those cute little Hoyas when they have their glow up and first blooms😍
I knew it was one of the pothos that started with an “M” 😂 I’m going to put it on a moss pole now that you’ve said that. I want to see it thrive! Some of those little Hoya already have new growth. Can’t wait to show you all! Thanks for supporting me 🥰🌱🫶🏽
@@aprilbrooks 🥰
Yes I second that it’s a manjula pothos and they can be gorgeous trailing or climbing !!! Keep up the great videos ❤
How exciting! I love that a subscriber sent you these plants! Your nails draw me in each time. I started taking care of my nails again after watching them and know how it helps the video. 😊
Aw thank you so much! I love doing them, they take forever but it’s so relaxing 🫶🏽 going to do them in a vlog soon 🥰
@@aprilbrooks that’s a great idea!!!! Sometimes I’d like to do something other than planty stuff, but I’m not very entertaining yet. 😄
Nice variety of hoya. The moss gives a nice tropical feel. Along with the glass containers. 👍🏾
Awww man I like the little cups she sent them in
I know! I think I’ve seen them at the dollar tree 😊 I’ve also shipped plants in them in the past 🌱
@@aprilbrooks Dollar tree has the cutest little vessels for planty tings! Love them!
no deadass it made me crave the dollar tree catering section immediately lol
Good luck with all your new plant propagations/seedlings. The Hoya Curtisii roots and grows really well in fluval. My original plant died back so I rescued two little strands and started them in fluval last summer. I kept it in my Ikea cabinet and it grew like crazy. I now have a whole new plant that grew leaves and vines all winter and I now have a full plant!
That was so sweet! Plant mail is the best mail! 💚 it’s been a rough week so I may go plant hunting on Saturday with one of my friends from work. Hopefully my little nursery will have some new plants… they did two weeks ago when I visited.
I like the short vlogs but I also like the long videos, I also enjoy your bloopers can’t wait to see more plant updates! I’m curious about mixing the fluval with pon…in theory, it should work great together. Can’t wait to see more propagation plant updates!
I hope your week gets better! 🫶🏽 thank you for supporting me, I will keep some bloopers in the next vlog. 😇 I literally just started mixing all my substrates because why not hahah hopefully I don’t kill my plants 🙈
Thanks you for sharing lovely houseplants beautiful lovely
Thanks for watching 🥰🌱
Hi, April!! I am so glad some plants made it! With this cold weather I was not sure the heat pack was going to be enough (and I had never shipped plants before). My hoya mathilde is growing good. All plants were in pon or leca from cutting to root. Hope they can recover and you enjoy! Love and light! Simone.
Hi Simone! Thank you again for sending me all of these beautiful plants, I was shocked at how many you sent me. ☺️ some of them are already putting out new growth, so exciting! 🥰🫶🏽🌱
That is great, darling! Thank you so much for being a ray of sunshine in my mornings! Your personality and sense of humor just make my day! My little cuttings are nothing compared to how much you bright my day 😀. Love and light, always!
Rooting hoya in Fluval stratum is the best!
I tried with my Hoya obovata and didn’t have that much success. But I will try again, thank you 😊🌱🫶🏽
Oh that’s sad 😔 I have an obovata I need to pot up currently but I’m trying to root my other ones because they got dry rot while my boyfriend took care of them when I was on vacation! Glad I have one back up that was in stratum the whole time 😅
Hi April. Let’s see what ya got.
Hehehe 💡😝
💚🌱💡
The second plant you repotted is a Manjula Pothos.
I think it is too. And manjula are notorious for being slow growers
Thank you! I knew it was one of the pothos that started with an M 😂
Hey April!
Hey Darlene! 🥰
Girl I have all those plants trust me leave the Mathilde in pon 😊 I sold 2 Mathilda for 8 bucks each and they both had 8 leaves ppl on fb were saying it was to expensive lol the nerve of ppl
omg lol too late it’s been in moss ever since. So far so good though, I’ll switch it back if anything happens. I think I paid a lot for one a couple years ago too. It only had 4 leaves 🥲
the way i paid $70 for one off etsy with like 15 leaves 😭
@@frannypie. no way girl I get mine from canopyplant
❤
I use Google calendar
I would go digital but I like to write lol
@aprilbrooks April when u propagate with fluval do u mix it with perlite. And have u ever thought of just sticking wet sticks in fluval and not laying them down
That's a manjula pothos
You should leave them in the pon. They don’t like to be wet.
I have too many Hoya thriving in moss to worry about it lol but if they decline I will be switching back to PON 🌱
Question, when I have small plant babies is it better for me to get the roots going just putting them in sphagnum moss?
I would pop it in sphagnum, what kind of plants are they?
N joy Pothos it was a gift from a young man I purchased some plants from. 02/06. It is not moving nor dying. I’m just not sure what to do since I’m new to this.
As I watched you make your transfer I’m wondering what the mixture is you’re using in this repotting?
Leca, pon, fluval 🌱
@@aprilbrooks Thank you
what is the difference between a "cutting" and a "corm?" (spelling?)
Alocasia have corms that produce new plants.
Sorry about Miss Jacklyn 😢
I think she might be making a come back!
April I love your channel, but gurl, why are you wearing a White top re-potting plants 😱
Hey beautiful New sub and new friend here 😊🫶
Hi thank you 🥰🫶🏽
