Another option would be to lift the reservoir higher than the pool and add a valve at the low end of the reservoir tank. Add a small bucket at the same height of the pool with a manual float valve in it set to the desired pool water height. This will eliminate the need for a pump with power because its gravity fed & the float valve will constantly regulate when the pool needs water added.

Our family has had a very large nursery for many years, and we 😊 landscapers. Great idea for the right plants. I have years of large and small-scale irrigation experience. I like your idea and may use it. I propagated thousands of milk weed on flooded tables. The performance was awesome!

I've done something similar but i used Artificial grass the old stuff that people have replaced cost nothing when a firm does the installation of new they take old stuff away so it's free i get a lot save the messing around all comes hand give the lads case of Beer 🍺 😊
