Thanks for your tips Ellie, hard to find accurate post-COVID info for the area. Where do you recommend for a longer stay (week). Octopus/Blue Lagoon for the better food?
I’d actually recommend blue lagoon for a longer stay, you can rent kayaks/paddle boards and the snorkelling is really good! Also the food is super yummy!
Yep the package deals always does not allow tourists to pick their hotels Always good to have the freedom to Choose because that way you ensure your adventures ain't hectic a lot Again thanks for visiting British Colonies South Pacific Region countries again in 2023 You guys should visit other countries in the Region as well yep that going to make the Tourist Industry back on its feet faster again you know
Hi Ellie! Loved this video! We’re looking at staying at barefoot buata in exactly the same accommodation you stayed in! Bit worried about the rats now - can I please ask, was it attracted to food that you had in your bags or did it just pop in for a visit? Will also check the pillows as I don’t fancy sleeping on mouldy cushions either! What was the snorkelling and the reef like at barefoot buata? I’ve heard great things! Thank you, Hels xxx
Hi Helen! Honestly the room we originally stayed in was super comfortable and we loved it! I’d say just check the pillows when you go in, hopefully they have after we did complain! I think we just got super unlucky with the rat problem, and it was attracted to one item of food we had in our bags. So if you have any make sure it’s on a table or above ground. We didn’t hear of anyone else having that problem and the resort did deal with it well. At kuata you can go scuba diving with bull sharks which is super cool and the reef should be amazing. If you can do a day trip to Manta resort the reef there is incredible too! I think we just got slightly unlucky in some areas but Fiji as a whole is beautiful 🥰🥰 xx

Hey great video thankyou, just a question on barefoot kuata. What were the activities like?
Barefoot Kuata was great for snorkelling, they had suba dives where you could see bull sharks. On the actual resort it was very relaxed
