Brannigan Barrett is a futures day trader-who trades a total of eight markets, across; bonds, equity indices, currencies and commodities. He was previously a trader at prop firm, Futex, but is now part of Axia Futures.
The subjects we cover during this conversation, include; how to progressively become a bigger (and better) trader, how a “dogfight” attitude has helped Brannigan’s trading career, how he prepares going into major news announcements, his daily process for journaling and being ready for “one good trade.” Plus, how to think about and achieve your trading goals.

This is so freaking good. I really admire Brannigan because he has a way of consistently staying humble and modest when he talks about trading, and he has seemed to always be this way. A true inspiration for the retail trader.
Brannigan has a reasonably good gift for teaching. His courses aren't cheap but the info seems helpful. Unlike so many trading courses, it seems more probable that the Axia folks are indeed traders teaching viable skills. But the downside is that they are pretty impersonal. They sell you the course, hand you your hat, and show you the door.

This by far Aaron, is the best interview I've listened to on Chart with Traders. Brannigan is, in my opinion by far the most honest Trader you've interviewed. His experience quite resonates with that of many traders like me. He's direct, brutally honest and genuinely passionate about everything trading. Your questions couldn't have helped elicit great responses. You were spot on Aaron. Much appreciated. I salute Brannigan, he's to me, a legend.

One of my favorites of all time so far. Easy to follow his talking points. But side note Aaron I am equally impressed with how well you have developed into conducting these. This was hands down the best I have heard you deliver an interview. You provided substance to your responses and played off of his responses in a very live way with great flow. Well done sir. I much more prefer "In the zone" Aaron now that I've heard this. Just very well done. Great interview. Did I mention I liked it?
Another great chat! I have to say that in my opinion, this is one of the best resources out there, especially for new traders. I've been trading for about a year and a half and I subscribed about three months ago to chat with traders and have listened to the lot, some more than once. There are some priceless insights in these interviews. Keep up the excellent work Aaron. From one UK trader that has benefited massively from your channel. Cheers!

Very long but interesting video. I am so much motivated and inspired from this video. This video explains thoroughly how to become bigger trader in currency business industry. I am with ECNCAPITAL who facilitate their clients to trade with bonds, equity, indices, currencies and commodities. Now I am doing only currency trading and this firm of brokerage given their clients the chance to trade with major, minor and exotic currencies.

Great interview. Indeed Market entry is a Buy or Sell Binary decision. But the market is a conundrum because of it's stochastic random walk nature which is fractal scaling and prone to levy flight (market jumps).

34:20 they knew when to leverage up, and when to ease off the button. and second, good traders knew when to back off if the markets were tough
Do trades smoke pot?
No! well maybe off hours. I know a lot who drink, not during work obviously. Try smart drugs for focus in the morning. Adrafinil or Modafinil, with Noopept, and choline for fuel. Focus is key.

As a heage fund trader and as one which saw most of chat podcast, I can tell you that this one was one of the most contributing for trading knowledge of any kind of trading style. Thank you aaron and thank you brannigna for sharing your knowledge.
@@Cenot4ph Trading is about more than clicking the mouse. 95%of trading ability is mastering personal psychology/demons.
I think in the future maybe say "I wanna trade bigger" as opposed to saying "I wanna get bigger" which sounds childish and a bit feminine
