for someone to be a director of the board u must have shares on the company, and they dont and its probably because for the last 5-7 years Sm was in an internal struggle with lee sooman for the ceo position. he's the culprit behind this situation and thank god hes finally out of sm. as soon as he went out, good things happened like riize debuted and 2-3 new groups are about to debut this year, and the production centers increased from 1 to 5. and now that theres no more battle with the ceo position, hopefully tvxq will get shares in the company like Boa and Kangta since its a new management.
