@JishinimaTidehoshi you can legally play on an emulator as long as you own a physical copy of the game... there's laws about keeping digital backups of games and you're allowed to as long as you've bought it. Just one of them grey area things to prove yknow.

@@Leostar-Regalius theres a glitch in botw where you can transfer durability and/or damage of one weapon to another, so they basically had an inventory full of master swords (possibly with biggoron sword durability)
@@kallixo Yeah, the master sword only actually has 40 durability They're probably corrupted with the springloaded hammer, which has 80 (biggoron sword has 60) idk when he did it, but if you did it now, you could use ist to corrupt them with the Hylian shield, giving them 1160 durability

Same here. I have that wandering knight mentality. Never hit a populated area. Forces you to use camp fires and other resources ignored during the later portion of the game. As well as making you keep track of your horse and keep him alive. If I’m feeling particularly extra, no changing clothes. All tunic and food items for weather. Put me over 700 hours in botw.

The divine beasts were legendary. For me it's a bit of a mixture, Tears had a bigger range of areas to explore but Breath had better sage powers.

The lynels just require you to learn the basics of combat, same for any enemy for that matter. Melee attack->dodge to flurry rush Ranged attacks that are slower to move(like lynel fire)->dodge out of the way Faster attacks like guardian lasers->parry to reflect or not use durability or normal block if you aren't a parry god
That last one hit me. I’ve done the story, completed all shrines, gotten every Korok Seed, discovered every part of the map, accomplished all quests, and finished the DLC.
I saw a post today that said that cutting the grass in this game is satisfying and a fun way to spend an hour and that has the same energy as this video
I beat the silver malice Linel below hyrule castle in TOTK. It was easy, just flurry every attack, I was under leveled for it, but it was easy. Btw I have 175+ hours in BOTW, but that probably doesn’t mean anything
I agree with this. Va Ruta was my first divine beast so I had to fight the red lynel. I died so many times but eventully a fully learned its attack patterns and flurry rushes were a given for me so the harder lynels were not a challenge.
Especially after a round of elden ring, then lynels are easy to get used to, 200+ hours in BOTW before then doing 200 hours in elden ring can do many things to someone
Back when I was really grinding BOTW, I went on a huge spree, challenging guardians around hyrule castle and fighting every. single. Lionell. Back to back because They were the only enemy that felt like a real fight. Don't know how the hell I did it back then because I cannot for the life of me get the timings right now.

The thing about lynels is that, when you're at the zora kingdom, you gotta take a picture of one, but you only got 3 hearts. Thats when you got to defeat it for the first time. Took me 6 hours to do, changed the way I look at combat forever.

I’ve done literally everything in the game, so what I do is get on a horse, and have it Walk on a pathway. It’ll then let me go around the map by itself without moving the joystick. It’s extremely relaxing and I hope people see this because it’s very satisfying.

Me and my friends used to play a game with botw, where we take pictures using the sheikah slate and try and recreate each other’s pictures by trying to guess the location and racing to get there. I know I’ve played too much Zelda when it takes like under 5 minutes to pinpoint and arrive at the exact location of link staring at the ground.

As someone who spent way to much in botw (400- 500 hours), my inventory may not be a lot of durabilaty transfered torches but just a lot of max attack up weopons and like three durability transfered soup ladles. ( fun fact I spent like half an hour trying to defeat ganon with a soup ladle and did it, but jeez did it take long)

The lynels aren't that difficult to beat, they just take forever and eat up all of your weapons lol.
They don't eat up weapons at all if you go against them correctly

For a second I thought that this was talking about TOTK and I was sitting there thinking “SIR… KING GLEEOKS?!? HELLO?!?” 😂
Me and my friends used to play a game with botw, where we take pictures using the sheikah slate and try and recreate each other’s pictures by trying to guess the location and racing to get there. I know I’ve played too much Zelda when it takes like under 5 minutes to pinpoint and arrive at the exact location of link staring at the ground.
You know you’ve played too much when you place metal doors or planks in the middle of sleeping bogoblins while raining and proceed to play electricute the mobs😂
The only way I get around is by motorcycle
Early Game:
Player: AHH GUARDIAN RUN!!!
Endgame:
Guardian: AHH LINK RUN!!!

me who's never successfully wind bombed or pulled of a blss that's more efficient than just walking:
I never ended up learning how to windbomb because I was enamored with stasis launching and flight machines.

When you can literally tell your friends exactly where everything is and exactly how to do the shrines
As someone who spent way to much in botw (400- 500 hours), my inventory may not be a lot of durabilaty transfered torches but just a lot of max attack up weopons and like three durability transfered soup ladles. ( fun fact I spent like half an hour trying to defeat ganon with a soup ladle and did it, but jeez did it take long)
