I hope you ignore the haters and enjoy the show for what it is, especially this part 1 of the story which has more happy moments because that's a rarity later down the line. Unlike Naruto, Boruto's is a story of having everything to losing it all and his evolution as a character is very interesting set in a peaceful era that is trying to find a between balance between tradition and progress.

@@1607Adi_Manz i watched most of the filler arcs actually but when the animation start fall off, i stopped watching them and only watched the canon. i know that the animation would throw fax off and make him lose interest like anyone would. of course i know its because studio pierrot was focusing on the Bleach remake and gave Boruto short timeframes, but the end product is what the viewers see and judge based on. thats why im glad boruto is now on hiatus until the manga can progress enough and give the studio time to finish the current major projects and introduce Boruto as a major project

There are few good Anime Canon Episodes that hits you with emotions that you should watch but other than that just stick to Manga Canon Episodes and you'll enjoy this show

Boruto hate is extremely forced and any reasons people give for why are either contradictory, untrue or because of excess filler which can be skipped if you don't like it. So continue watching and don't listen to haters, don't skip anime canon unless you're really not enjoying it because they add a lot of context and build up and character development.

No spoilers: as of now Boruto has a handful of signature jutsu in the manga, varying from B rank to S++ rank, aside from many other jutsu and has accomplished CRAZY feats. Boruto is HIM. He starts off as a brat but matures so much.
Despite the MASS ton of filler this anime has, its pretty good in my opinion. I like the story twist this anime has vs how naruto did it with it's story. Some fillers can be like "wtf did I watch" and some "that was a decent filler arc" so don't be mad when things tend to drag a little lmao.
Hope this series doesn't disappoint you

As someone who watched like 100 episodes of boruto, it's not bad, but it does have a few flaws.
It gets better later on, manga is peak
Naruto and Hinata had Boruto at 20-21. and Naruto became Hokage at the age of 27-28. Naruto was a good father until he bacame Hokage. We can say that Boruto is having an attitude because he's used to spending time with his father until he became the hokage that's why he's mad at Naruto. He's like "Dad, why are we not spending time together as a family nowadays" very normal for kids to question this and throw attitudes. As we all know that the hokage's are very busy in terms of managing and protecting the land of fire.

Keep watching and you may avoid fillers and watch them later imo. The canon content is good. (Ps - in boruto there’s this concept of anime canon as well, so watch those episodes. Anime canon is basically the canon world building that was omitted in the manga but is actually very much there in the manga plot behind everything going on like character dynamics, some backstories etc)
Essentialy they switched the manga format from a Weekly to a monthly release but they follow the manga.(Essentaily its impossible if you get 1 chapter a month to get no fillers if its a monthly manga). While there are still 3-4 Anime episodes out at the start of the series.(The boruto manga started with the Boruto movie arc BTW while that does not get adapted until like episode 54-66). But when the movie released they were not sure where the story would go so the movie and anime have different endings.

Boruto gets a lot of hate cause it is very different from the Naruto anime before it and a lot of fans basically wanted more of a clone of the original Naruto anime. Enjoy the anime and ignore all the haters. I enjoyed Boruto a lot cause I never expected it to be like the Naruto anime before it, if you don't expect it to be Naruto it will be a lot more fun. Like Boruto said this is his story and it isn't about Naruto. Of course Naruto will still be in it and we will get to see how well he lives up to his title as Hokage but Boruto is the star now so of course this won't feel like Naruto's story anymore. More like 95% about Boruto and 5% about Naruto since he is Hokage and Boruto's father.

The relationship of Boruto and Naruto is very common in Japanese culture. The dad overworks and barely had time for his famoly neglecting being a father. Its the most common social problem in Japan. And most haters dont comprehend this part of Boruto. Japanese people actually love Boruto cause they relate to him so much. I would say that the Manga Canon arcs are definitely worth watching, certain Anime Canon arcs are worth it as well but not all of them, I say that because a lot of the early ones had good animation quality but later it kinda got worse. And they are not that great...
Skip Filler arcs/episodes.
Notice* Imma just say a little bit about these "Anime Canon Arcs", these are arcs/episodes that aren't in the manga but they are still considered canon... they are written by a separate team of witters close to Kishimoto and Kishimoto just gives his approval if he likes it so they can release them...
Another thing* Boruto is a monthly manga, 80 chapters have been released, and with the anime having 293 episode you can tell that only a portion of it are manga canon episodes (since it takes about 2- 4 manga chapters to create 1 anime episodes)
Part 1 of Boruto manga ended with chapter 80, the last Boruto anime episode 293 ended on chapter 66/67
Also as of now there are 8 chapters of Boruto: 2 Blue Vortex ( or Boruto Shippuden, if you wanna call it that) and this wont be getting animated in a long time since the Boruto anime is on hiatus till 2027-2028, this info was released on February 16.
Naruto and Boruto both are diff. The only way to enjoy Boruto is not to comparing it to naruto

I think you need Neel for this one. I don't really think you dislike Boruto, you're words are probably just immediate reactions to what you're watching lol. But in hopes that it don't turn into hate like MOST apathetic reactors with zero emotional intelligence: I implore you, to look at everything with Boruto's eyes. Put yourself in his shoes. Activate empathy.
He's not an anime watcher in our world, he _doesn't_ know Naruto like that, and really, what kid knows their whole parents life story. I frankly think it's completely brain numbing when people get mad at this kid over this stupid reason. And, my opinion as a fellow parent, it's partially Naruto's fault. Partially bc he can't really control his workload. But he also has a duty as a father, and it should be coinciding _with_ his duty as the Hokage, and not having either one prioritized over the other. It's just how it is to be a parent. You have to forgive the child _for acting like a child._ We're adults. We shouldn't be holding them to the same standard.
