Full size is already on its way to me 🤩It's absolutely stunning! Same goes for Tom Ford Oud Wood! I LOVE it. I'm so glad I discovered your channel Monika, we seem to share the same taste in perfume.
I feel like there is something wrong with me because I don't think Gris Charnel smells feminine AT ALL. All I can smell is the woody scent and the cardamom. It smells... musky and spicy and heavy... the kind of scent I think of as "masculine". My husband doesn't seem to be a fan of it either.... Maybe I got a defective batch or something?
I just got a sample and I’ve tried for a week now to make myself like it but I just can’t do it. I don’t think it’s overly masculine, but not particularly feminine either. Having the same problem with PdM Darcy. I so wanted to like it because that’s my favorite literary character. 😂 But no. It reminds me of the very heavy, Halston-ish fragrances my mom wore in the 80s. 😩 I am 43 but apparently I’m attracted to all the sweet, gourmand fragrances that are considered juvenile and not very complex. 🙃

I've worn an unknown perfume for years. Samsara by Guerlin. Its expensive so I dont wear too often, but when I do both men and woman always ask me what Im wearing. The closest other fragrance that compares is Coco Chanel. Not ever perfure smells the same on everyone. You have to find what u love that works with your body chemistry.
Unknown perfume lol? This was my going out perfume during the 90s. You could still smell it after you washed your outfit had excellent projection left a trail in the house and lasted. like £39 a bottle. Its awful now nothing like the original.
@@Michelle-oj2yq you can still get the original formula. At least here in the states. Its about $225 for the spray. Ive been wearing it since about 91. But when people ask me whats that amazing perfume and I tell them they say they've never heard of it.

Thanks for letting me know as never seen it in bloomingdales or macys. Is it available in most shops do you know?

I just bought grid charnel because of your husband but I honestly do not like it, smells a little on the masculine side but then I hate bacarat rouge as well so I don’t really trust my senses atm lol

I actually don’t like it as my own husband was buying this frag for me for every occasion, the he was buying this for all his family members. Guy at work was chasing me and asking for name, many many people complemented me on this frag, which is shocking. I have never received any compliments on my Chanel (coco) or Shalimar which I adore. Oh well, to each own
I tried fantasy on myself too, and didn't like it much. Too cloying and too sweet for me. But recently I smelled it on a woman and asked her what she was wearing, as it smelled really nice on her! I didn't anticipate for her to say britney spears fantasy, which I didn't like😄 goes to show that perfumes are also perceived differently when smelling on somebody else or on ourselves

Most of these scents are great. The only one I ddislike, is one of the most hyped, is PDM Delena. I dying to try it- considered a blind buy bc the bottle is just lovely but I found the juice to be a Granny scent when people use it pejoratively. It’s a shame, too, I sure love that bottle.
I went to the mall to buy a perfume. i tried most of the perfumes he liked in the videos. I didn't like them. i realised my preferance isn't to smell like a man eater. i don't like to smell sexy. I want to smell clean, fresh, warm. pleasant, like white floral.

How strong is the fig note is ‘Gris Charnel’ ? (Not a fan of fig notes in perfumes, but this is so hyped in the perfume community!)
Not as strong as for example Philosykos. It’s more of a fig jam with loads of coconut 🥥

You have to wear it for a while, I feel, just like BR540. As it dries down it glows up past the opening
