Amazing and wonderful flight from London to Gibraltar. Watching this video is a wonderful experience for me. Soft and skilful landing. Really I like it very much. Thanks for loading this video.
I will soon be making my first ever plane flight on Tuesday. To all my fellow plane virgins, let me ask you, at what point in the clip would you be quietly crapping yourself if you were in the same position? I make it about 2:29 for me. My nerves and heart rate will be so fast it leaves any plane for dead.
Love easyjet the safety demo is the best i just love listening to it I fly at least once a year on family holidays it really is the best airline you could fly with. My sister Is afraid of flying and they made sure she was calm all the way there. Would recommend
+Tom Atkin Since London airspace is generally quite busy, there are altitude restrictions after departure which the pilots have to comply with. On this specific departure sequence the initial altitude to climb to, without clearance from Air Traffic Control, is 4000ft. At 10:00 you can hear that the pilots have been given permission to climb higher, hence the reason the engines spool up to MCT or Max climb thrust. Hope this helps. Bruno is right but out of Gatwick, depending on what is calculated, climb thrust is selected at approx 1500ft, you can't hear this change in my video because we used the least amount of takeoff thrust permitted due to the short journey time and low mass of the aircraft. If I'm gonna be technical, the flex thrust used was 67oC presumed temperature (Roughly a 25% derate) which is the max for an A319 with CFM56 engines. :D Thanks for the comment.
I am trying to get my head around flying (!) , so thanks for this video ! .. I am still not entirely convinced .. but thanks, very interesting video .. ;))
I know this is a very late reply and you have already flown by now -probably- but the crew onboard the plane is professionally trained, at least once each year. So, if an emergency was to occur-which it’s very unlikely that one will- they will know exactly what to do and how to get everyone to safety:) wish you well:)
Looked like a rather fun way to spend an hour! I'd say that amazing approach and landing was worth the price of the ticket all on its own........better than any amusement park ride! Loved watching the aircraft's shadow all the way in............it's pretty cool when that happens! Great stuff. It seemed that the view through the window was not perfectly clear to me.............almost like it was fogged or something? Was the window perhaps very dirty or scratched? Thanks, man.
turbofanlover Thank you very much! Was very much like a roller coaster at times! I've never actually experienced a shadow like that on landing before so it was fantastic to see! Yeah, It was quite dirty and smudged, I should have wiped it a bit, but it was on the outside too! Thanks again :D
Anyone know if Allegiant uses hush kits? I flew on an a319 today and the engines were silent compared to this! Also I sat in the middle of the plane close to the engines.
Only if you sit in front or next to the engine, then you are going to hear the engine buzzsaw sound (which in my opinion is a great sound) but if you sit in the middle you are just going to hear air.
At about 6:56 I will be crushing my gf's hand into dust. Never in my life will I ever have cause to hold on so tightly to anything for dear life as being in a plane the moment it leaves the ground. Lol.
thinkachu easyjet has never had a fatal crash The most serious incident occurred in 2003 on a flight from Amsterdam to London, when a slippery runway caused the aircraft to collide with a lamppost as the captain lost control during taxiing and they where on the ground during that incident
I have been from Gatwick before to go to Orlando with British airways it was OK on the way there but crap on the way back also the terminal not the nicest place ever ether
Oli Howes HAHAHAH! No way they are so boring oh my god anyone who train spots is just an embarrassment to their family!😂 planes have so much more to them and they are so much better
+Sam Robertson Bollocks they have a near flawless record, i've flew with easy jet for atleast 18 years, and i haven't heard of a single air plane crashing.......
Nice video
Jet2🙃 0:01
Those wheels kissed that runway beatiful landing
Thoroughly enjoyed the video from 18:00 onwards. Nothing beats a turbulent approach with the engine spooling up and down continuously.
Richy Thanks a lot! Yeah it is a lot of fun watching the battle between the aircraft, wind and pilot/autopilot :D
AWESOME sound of CFM's ! liked this video and airplane !
Sacha Al-Aref Thanks! I agree, really nice sound :D
The takeoff sounded like the RB211s on a 757 🧐🧐 I also noticed this in Easyjet’s show “Inside the Cockpit”
Love the sound of the engine and love this aircraft
The sound’s called an engine roar

Sounds a lot like a 757! I like it.
Haha, it's a shame that it wasn't :D
That was one really smooth landing! The first time I ever flew on an a319 was pretty bumpy
The 🐈
Nice takeoff! I like the smooth CFM engine sound!
***** Thanks! Certainly is! :D
Same that’s why I like A320s

Subscribed man....Love the sound of the CFM's. Flew on EasyJet's A-19's a few times from Manchester-Amsterdam...Cheap but decent airline!
Great videos!
Thank you.
Just subscribed. 👍
Great video- lambourne1X departure just to let you know :-)
Oooops sorry, don't ask me what possessed me to put a Biggin departure. They rarely ever use them anymore! :D
Beautiful video, mate! Keep it up! :)
i often see the Virgin dreamliners at EMA on crew training flights from Prestwick to Gatwick via EMA!
Lucky Me!!!! :D
The 🚗
Very Nice video
Thanks! :D
Very good footage but what's the sound at 8:28? Sounds like engines going from take off speed to cruising speed? Correct me if I'm wrong

NICE
What was the Altitude
it's so small and cute
Shame this flight doesn't run anymore, as this was Newcastle's last direct Link to Gatwick...another domestic flight lost at LGW
Nice video Conor! Is that an old A319?
Yes that is a pretty old one for EasyJet it's currently coming up to 10. You can probably tell be the sound from the engines too! Thanks :D
Conor010 Aviation Channel ✈✈ can you help me get over my fear of flying?
At about 6:56 I will be crushing my gf's hand into dust. Never in my life will I ever have cause to hold on so tightly to anything for dear life as being in a plane the moment it leaves the ground. Lol.
Paul.
I have worked in ATC and it still scares the cr*p out of me.
You will be fine 😁
Cool :D
Well We Travelled On A Easyjet A319 And The Takeoff Was Screamed Engines
No worries lol
Is easyjet safe?
All airlines are as safe as each other, as there has to be a certain amount of training required. 😀✈️😀✈️😀✈️
Easyjet has had no fatal crashes but has had technical problems here and the just like any other airline / aircraft
Levi wait are the technical difficulties often and has someone ever died from the technical difficulties? Plz let me know I’m flying on it soon
thinkachu easyjet has never had a fatal crash The most serious incident occurred in 2003 on a flight from Amsterdam to London, when a slippery runway caused the aircraft to collide with a lamppost as the captain lost control during taxiing and they where on the ground during that incident
thinkachu message me on my aviation Instagram so I can tell you a bit more my name is Aviation.at.its.finest

Rugby Man that’s an amazing engine sound you’re hearing 😂
You know that all other big airlines use the a319 too?
I have been from Gatwick before to go to Orlando with British airways it was OK on the way there but crap on the way back also the terminal not the nicest place ever ether
