I love Lowell one of the best places I’ve lived in, ppl say it’s bad but it isn’t, there is some crime but that happens in every town. Good seeing my favorite town.
I from lowell and I do miss it but I leave lowell when I was 14 years old now I am going to be 31 years old and maybe one day I will visit my hometown with my brother we both wanted to visit our hometown .
God i love lowell i miss the old winterfest it aint the same no more the city is so bad rn with all thr stabbings and shootings but itll always be my home and were i kinds grew up went to glths class of 10... I kno all of this city by heart i cant get lost even if i was blindfolded....mill city!!
I have memories every block of Lowell Down Town especially. So many missed opportunities in this video if you could pan right or left with some narration.
That was good. Have you ever been to Town? It ain't like the City. Drive slow and just do a 'quick' drive through. Look to see how much yard the houses have. And, how much healthier the people look. And, how much more trees they have. And, how far the businesses are from the street. Don't get road vertigo, you won't be stopping as much. And, stay to the main streets. If you start driving through neighborhoods, they'll accuse you of casing the joint. Of, if you do, just drive by once to get the feel of the place. You could even drive all the way down (which would be south) Main Street, aka Route 38, all the way to Wilmington Center. Or, stop before that at Wilmington Plaza, that would be a good place to turn around and come home. Now, you could, on the way back, when you get to the Dunkin Donuts, which is just shortly after the Wilmington Plaza, when you are coming back here, take a left onto Route 129, and follow that all the way to the end. When you get to the end, take a right. That will bring you onto Route 3A, which will bring you onto Gorham Street. Now, you will come to a part where it says Route 129, again, but, don't take that left, continue straight. Make sure to wear you Sunday best.
Went to first grade at 10th street school and then a school over near the Stadium near 495m Lived on Summer street for a while a saw Rogers school built and oh, Santoros subs, ya.
you may want to consider giving other views and some time-lapse to improve the quality of your vid, I'm a teacher in lowell, and would love to help you make another!
The armpit of the universe but at least it isn’t the crotch...that honor goes to Lawrence. UMass needs to just buy the rest of the city and evict the vermin like they did in the Adams st. area.
Looks a bit of a slum. Also I cant believe the amount of overhead cable lines. Wasnt Betty Davis from Lowell? At least it's got one thing going for it.
I learned about Lowell today when learning about the industrial revolution
I love how the first building we see as you pull out on the street is the Lowell Sun Newspaper building where my grandfather worked all his life.
