Newbe here.. i have no idea about computers but this is the second i have watched and just love listening to the joy you have when you destroy the scammers ... i already follow one so happy to support you too... keep going as i did get scammed many years ago. So i respect you with thanks..
I wish more people would take the time to speak to everyone they know specially the elderly on the different scams and how not to be victimized. To never send money, buy gift cards or give access to their computers using a myriad of different programs. Keep up the good fight ❤👏
I work with old patients, specifically end stage lung disease and yea they're often times easily tricked because they want to make sure at very least they don't leave their families with finicial burdens and most of time would like to provide a nice amount of money for their families to appreciate them by (sad I know). This desperation, I believe, makes them vulnerable.
It took me and my sister almost 3 years to get our mother to stop answering every single call and only answer the ones she recognizes....
I think it is so deeply ingrained in the elderly that if the phone rings, you answer it.

Someone I know had been talking to girl from Facebook and sent her a $300 gift card. She claimed the money on card had already been used. Next thing his bank account was cleaned out. Another person I know was about to buy $350 in gift cards because he was told on the phone he had won $100,000 and a new car from a Publishers Clearing House scam but the store stopped him from buying the gift cards. There are more gullible people out there than you think.

Revolts you should put a team together to call these scam victims back to let them know and educate them. I would volunteer to that. I'm not an it guy but i know the in and out of the scams.
One scam baiter did that and had to endure the sadness of one couple who lost 35,000 dollars. When the $$ is gone, it is gone in most cases. IMO it only takes once to know U have been scammed, and yet there are other scams needing a book to share all the possibilities. This would be take a lot of time, and U probably would not sleep well. But your intentions were pure.

Late to the party, but what a great ride! I may not watch all your videos, but I appreciate people like you, who play an active part in thwarting scammers. It's people like you who help keep people like my parents - who are not at all tech-savvy - safe(r). I try to warn them about scam practices and I am happy to say they are doing good job being skeptical of EVERYONE. But still I am glad there are people who can actually inflict damage to scammers and maybe scare them out of working for some amount of time - or even just wasting some of their time. It all helps.

If I call customer support for any company, and I hear someone speaking with the broken English and heavy accents these people use, I'm immediately going to assume that they are scammers. This is a huge problem for legitimate companies. These criminals are destroying their own communities.
Nothing wrong with being cautious and safe. Even if you mistake a genuine one for a scammer, they can hardly call you racist for that. Any legitimate company who hires people who won't lose their temper simply from a pin drop should fully understand.
I hang hang up on anyone who calls with an Indian accent. I don’t care what company they may work for. I trust none of them.
