When I was 6, I already heard Blink 182, now I´m 22 and still suprised that this band remains the same genre. Thank you for 22 years Skatepunk. Greetings from Germany
Ellen Masey really it sounds like travis and mark are trying to take it back to street LA type of music and tom is throwing in lyrics about U2 again. I can't remember a single song worth going back to. I think I listened to this once earlier and completely through a minute ago. What I do remember is one song that sounds like a drunk college kid writing it. It really got on my nerves but then I zoned out again
Such a good and underrated EP. Better than California by a mile. Too bad complete clowns decided not to listen to it because it didn't sound exactly like Enema
I think Blink will always hold a special place in my heart. I met some of my life long friends for the first time because we wanted to start a blink cover band and they needed someone who could play carousel on bass. Back when all you needed in common to hang out with someone was the fact that you both liked the same band. pure nostalgia....
I really wish that Blink would have kept with the direction of Neighborhoods and Dogs Eating Dogs. As a fan who absolutely loved everything from Dude Ranch to Neighborhoods (Cheshire Cat was alright, not really my cup of tea though), California was one of the bigger disappointments for me this year. While there were a handful of good tracks, it felt more like a regression, and the lyrical and musical content in that album felt lazy, forced, and disingenuous. Maybe I've just outgrown pop punk, hence my lack of enthusiasm for California, but Blink-182 will always remain one of my favorite bands, and I'm so glad that Neighborhoods and Dogs Eating Dogs came to fruition before Tom's departure.
I like Cheshire Cat and Dure Ranch most. The rest is really nice, but Neighborhoods and California, I don't listen. Like there are some good content, but is really painful to hear all the other shit spat all over. Parking Lot is the only one song I like. Neighborhoods, tho having a nice instrument arrangement the lyrics are so crappy, like cliche nowadays rap songs lyrics I can't stand. I don't think you outgrown pop punk, California is not even pop punk. It's a weird misture with a lot of pop not that much punk.
It’s not just you. Repetitive choruses, same progression used throughout the entire album, weak, generic lyrical content, and overly produced thanks to Feldy in comparison to Finn’s more raw, natural production style. Even the production on this and Neighborhoods was better in my opinion. California was just not a good album.
Imagine Blink 182 as it is now plus Tom back in it. 4 piece style. Tom could take over vocals and expand the sound with 2 guitars. Like Nirvana in their last tour when Pat played with them.
Is it me, or does Tom sound amazing on this album. it's almost like he never lost his voice. It sounds like he changes his singing for AVA. Old Tom very apparent on this album. More so than Neighborhoods.
I thought I was the only one that felt that way. A&A is its own thing but Neighborhoods did sound faintly like A&A with Travis and Mark in it to me. This album is a great throw back to the Self Title. Which I absolutely loved. Tom is an amazing singer in every band he is in tho.
this actually sounds like they recorded in a room together. neighborhoods sounds like some tom songs, some mark songs feat. Travis. even the production is better in this e.p
I like Blink a lot too, and I must say that I'm pretty happy with this EP. It's recognizable as them and the songs are catchy and well done. I'd be happy if they continued in this direction.
If "Neighborhoods" album started with the first three songs from this EP and ended after 'Wishing Well', it would be my all-time favorite Blink record!
This is honestly their best song writing. Still sounds fresh almost 10 years later. Shame they didn't continue with this, because it's like it took the better parts of Neighborhoods and carried them forward. Props to Matt as a fill in, but he would have never been able to compare to this.
Dogs Eating Dogs sounds like New World by Tom and When Your Heart Stops Beating by +44 combined, which makes perfect sense actually, your can see the two halves of blink 182 come together
This over anything released from California so far. Willing to give the guys a chance, but the new stuff seems very "follow the Blink formula!" to me and Matt hasn't really added much. Best blink album is 2003's self titled...then I'd listen to this E.P over anything else.
I feel like this is such a big leap from Neighborhoods. I liked Neighborhoods' sobered and distant sound, but I feel like this could be a whole new band altogether. I hope they continue that arc on the next album, and just leave this as an experimental EP.
this sounds like the blink from Dude Ranch slowed down, plus AVA, plus +44. Perhaps it wouldn't be that bad if they kept like this for their next album, but i think they should get a song old-styled
NoeLink Aguirre Actually, in my opinion, it kinda sounds like Neighborhoods + +44 + AvA... But yeah,I'd like old school sounding songs as well. Like Heart's All Gone and MH 4.18.2011
MrFelipeyw Yeah, it is sad... I feel that instead of dragging out the band even more they should just let Blink die gracefully and move on to other projects, y'know?
name one song that sounds post hardcore on a blink 182 album. any song. please. blink has been my favorite band since day one and I own all their live performances, their cd's, ep releases, all that shit. and not one song sounds post hardcore. you kids need to start understanding these subgenres before you throw em around all willy nilly.
Lets just hope there new album might pull a Enema of State or even a Self-tilted...(not with sound but with sales) If they do i'll be damned but it will be Awesome
Travis Barker just keeps getting better and better, people can say what they want, ok i know there might be lot of "better " drummers, but there are few that play wich such intensity and creativity as he does, especially live, he is a beast !!!!
I think Tom needs his space right now however I really like Matt my ideal hope would be for Tom to come back but Matt to stay so they become a 4 piece band like how Iron Maiden ended up with 3 guitarists and sound even better now.
I wish that were true but right now I feel like Tom can't get a long with Mark anymore and vice versa. After watching Ernie Ball: The Pursuit of Tone, he made this comment and you just know it was about Mark and it was savage. Basically, Tom said that its ok if you just want to tour the same songs and do it for the money because you have nothing else but he (Tom) has more to offer society artistically and he couldn't just settle to do only Blink. It was just on TV the other day so you might be able to catch it on demand if you have DirecTV
I liked that and hated that at the same time. As if to say Blink-182 offers the world nothing new artistically... All he sings about is love in angels and airwaves 90% of the time but at a slower tempo. I think he can manage to do that in new ways through Blink as well. The last several releases with tom they managed to do it.
Jayk Dodds Its called growing up. They changed, and if you watch the live stuff they still act that way from time to time. So what they changed? If you dont like it don't say anything.
+Citrus Storm Productions yeah, it's my least favorite of the album, never been a fan of the AvA sound. On the other hand Dogs eating dogs sounds like +44 featuring Tom haha
Was this album even ever officially released? I don’t think we ever saw it here in the states. Music sounds unfamiliar too. Going back all the way to Dude Ranch and Cheshire Cat I don’t remember this album.
Boxing Day... that melody... pure Nostalgia.. anyone else?
Daniel Firestarter hey now you're an all star
@@colestubing3744 Lol that's what I thought too. There are only three or four Blink songs that I actively dislike and Boxing Day is one of them.
Great album. Blink 182 forever. I got nothin but unconditional love for these guys. Good music is good music.
When I was 6, I already heard Blink 182, now I´m 22 and still suprised that this band remains the same genre. Thank you for 22 years Skatepunk.
Greetings from Germany
Now youre 32. How are they now? 😅
@@wnek45 Still nice ^^
one of the best bands ever
This is and will always remain one of my all time favorite Albums
It's an EP not an album.
Tim Lundin its still an album, just not an LP
laugh my fucking ass off what shitty taste
Ellen Masey really it sounds like travis and mark are trying to take it back to street LA type of music and tom is throwing in lyrics about U2 again. Ellen Masey it’s been Five years . Does it still hold up ?
Dogs eating Dogs screams +44 to me, I love it.
Such a good and underrated EP. Better than California by a mile. Too bad complete clowns decided not to listen to it because it didn't sound exactly like Enema
California blows. other than bored to death. this is definitely an underrated album
i felt the same.. but listen to it more and you start to appreciate it
California is a good average rock album. Tom added something musically way more evolved to me
i listened to it more than 5 times......still utter garbage yo
@@punkroc2977 fucking same every album but this album and California are fucking amazing anyways Ben wah balls best joke song TOYPAJ beat album

You had a great life
Been listening to Blink for 22 years !!! Still listen to them everyday!!!!
Really wish they would stay together. Love this EP and was excited to see the next album they put out.

Derek Requiem totally agree!!
Derek Requiem in fact, a band has to change as the years go by, as we do, sometimes u wannna hear that type of music but less "noisy"
Derek Requiem I liked some of California, but everytime I listened I just got sad. No Tom
It’s not just you. Repetitive choruses, same progression used throughout the entire album, weak, generic lyrical content, and overly produced thanks to Feldy in comparison to Finn’s more raw, natural production style. Damn how did i miss this one.....thanks for the post!
It took me 9 years to discover this ep...listening for the 2 nd time... Loving it
BEATIFUL. NO MORE. THANKYOU TOM, MARK AND TRAVIS.
Such an underrated Album, People need to listen to his More! especially how Tom left.
Proud to be a fan of crappy punk rock!
Crappy punk rock since ‘92
I never listened to anything after neighborhoods, but I’m glad I am
Blink-182 is THE BEST BAND EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
man this EP is fucking solid. so so good.
Yeah dude Hella wanted this to be the next record for sure
just listen to Angels and Airwaves then.
i do lol, not that they're even alike.
is this EP on iTunes, I can't seem to find it
no, it got taken off, no idea why. it's on spotify though
Imagine Blink 182 as it is now plus Tom back in it. 4 piece style. Tom could take over vocals and expand the sound with 2 guitars. Like Nirvana in their last tour when Pat played with them.
Every time I listen to Pretty Little Girl I swear the second line is: "It seems like you just farted as my hand is moving up your arm."
lmfao
Lol.. damn you
Ahahaha, I can't unhear this now
What is it actually supposed to be?
Brad Laws it seems like it is 'fine' as my... blah blah
Is it me, or does Tom sound amazing on this album. it's almost like he never lost his voice. It sounds like he changes his singing for AVA. Old Tom very apparent on this album. More so than Neighborhoods.

u and me both
without a doubt it is

+Reb Short "It's recognizable as them" I guess that depends how old you are. This sounds nothing like them IMO.
love this album , these guys are my hero's, and I have the best leg tattoo on this planet to prove it. XxX
I needed this to autoplay today. Forgotten memories with each song. Imma listen through and save a bite for later.
I love this chill vibe on this
for some reason the song dogs eating dogs reminds of me of when your heart stops beating by +44
+MrTyler8877 It has very similar chord progression, that's probably why.
that and the intro riff sounds like a part of new world by Tom
This is their best ever...
So glad that they put this EP out. Their music never ceases to surprise my ears; definitely a braingasm!
Disaster kills me. It's the only song after self-titled album where Tom actually sounds like Tom. I miss it so much.
This is Blinks best.
Boxing Day is my birthday and that's my fav song on this album
Great times these for being a blink fan between 11-12. Neighborhoods, then this ep came on 12... de longe's farewell... so many memories
Man... this EP was such a great middle ground between Mark/Travis and Tom.
This is an amazing EP...why didn't they release a full album? This woulda totally been a hit CD.
Neighborhoods didn't do really good commercially. Their label couldn't risk another flop of an album.
Slumerican Shitizen should be thanking Tom because he's the only one who did the most creativity on this EP
If "Neighborhoods" album started with the first three songs from this EP and ended after 'Wishing Well', it would be my all-time favorite Blink record!
I rate this EP 182/100
I love Blink 182 It's MY FAVORITE SONG
its a band LOL
This is honestly their best song writing. Still sounds fresh almost 10 years later. Shame they didn't continue with this, because it's like it took the better parts of Neighborhoods and carried them forward. Props to Matt as a fill in, but he would have never been able to compare to this.
matt did well .........
some of their best stuff imo
There is a sad irony that this sounds like the sort of music Mark wants to make with Blink, nearly 7 years too late.
Dogs Eating Dogs sounds like New World by Tom and When Your Heart Stops Beating by +44 combined, which makes perfect sense actually, your can see the two halves of blink 182 come together
hahaha YES!

Thank you Mark
Blink-182 went from pop-punk, punk-rock/post hardcore. Now alternative with touches of pop-punk/punkrock. c':

Stockholm Syndrome off their self titled. or Stay Together For The Kids off Take Off Your Pants and Jacket.
neither of those songs are even remotely post hardcore
Austin Harper those aren't post hardcore i'm srsly srs
+My Doge Welp I guess Austin is broke then hahahaha
The beginning of boxing day sounds like all star, and 13:32 sounds a lot like smiles and tears from earthbound
It is an EP, which means there normally are no more than at least 6 songs.
Savage EP, release a new album!!
10:48 Somebody once told me the world is gonna roll me
I fucking love this band.
Another great album by Angels & Airwaves!
Lets just hope there new album might pull a Enema of State or even a Self-tilted...(not with sound but with sales)

Great Albums!! 👍
disaster is best song
Blink 182!
dogs eating dogs reminds me of lycanthrope,at least the beginning does
And "When your heart stops beating"
Let's compare "Boxing Day" with "I won't be home for Christmas"... See the difference?
Jayk Dodds Its called growing up. They changed, and if you watch the live stuff they still act that way from time to time. So what they changed? If you dont like it don't say anything.
No cave duda simpre seran los mejores no hay álbum que no esté padre por simpre blink-182 😍😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️❤️
Boxing day is a holiday. So "on boxing day" would make more sense :)
This is a very underrated EP
Tom delonge should start a band with Scott Raynor and call it Blink 183...one up on 82
Yeah. DeLonge, Rubin, and Raynor together would be awesome.
Except I think Raynor hates ALL of Blink after he got kicked out.
Brett Hiller no they still keep in touch, they kicked him out for his own personal health cause he had drinking problems
Atlas theGhost that"s the gayest thing i've heard.
+Ricardo Gurd
Whereis the homosexualality in that sentence
BOXING DAY
rocks!!
When i was young, there were dogs eating dogs, it became a disaster.Whatever, at the boxing day, i got a pretty little girl.
"Dogs eating ducks dogs eating ducks dogs eating ducks" My Jack Russel tries it to!
Disaster sounds like an AvA song featuring Mark...
+Citrus Storm Productions yeah, it's my least favorite of the album, never been a fan of the AvA sound. On the other hand Dogs eating dogs sounds like +44 featuring Tom haha
its so amazing to realise that Tom is actually singing with Yelawolf on this great, great EP...
i still support u
Man I miss these guys
I LOVE 💕 IT!!! #StrongerThanEver
Was this album even ever officially released? I don’t think we ever saw it here in the states. Music sounds unfamiliar too. Going back all the way to Dude Ranch and Cheshire Cat I don’t remember this album.
This was released during neighborhoods which came out in 2015
So sad to see that some of the original comments from here were written in the time when we didn't know the real Blink were gonna split :')
the beginning of boxing day sounds like smash mouth's allstar D:
Dude I have always thought that too lol
ur smoking crack
lmao!
Hi this is good.
i miss you blink 182
This album saved my insanity
Dogs eating Dogs opening riff sounds like Lycanthrope
that ending song fucking kills, I enjoy Yelawolfs part as well. Blink is on point as always
i genuinely can't find this EP anywhere, its not on amazon, itunes or in any shops in my local area!:(
Actually I have bought that EP on iTunes when it came out and i cannot find it there now...wierd...
Jasper Addey if you'd like this e.p. go to my videos and look for Ava reptiched and follow directions no b.s. it works.... ✌
I hope that Jon Sudano had listen to "Boxing Day"...
is that true ?
one of many reasons tom leaving is that cause a rummor, this album hasbeen leaked before it published,
awesome
I love you
boxing day is so sad
more Mark Hoppus!
No.1band in the entire Universe is BLINK 182!!!! Fuck yahhhh!!!!!

Normally hate rap but that bridge on pretty little girl is actually goodm
Blink 182 is making album with Matt skiba od alkalain trio
