- If you are looking to branch out from selling print-on-demand goods, there is another option-and you can make guaranteed passive income doing it. Like anything, the more you upload and the more sales you get, the more income you would make. But it DEFINITELY is possible. In this masterclass, I walk through exactly how it works and present two options.
Make sure to check out my other channel called CRAFTY STAX for more tutorials: / @craftystax

Love the video❤️ I just started my print-on-demand journey and found Crafted Threads. They have a ton of designs and it saved me so much time. They have something in every niche. And lifetime updates too!!
Thanks for this. I uploaded some designs on Creative Fabrica, this video reminded me so I checked and I have made some sales :)
I am just starting up and I have watched almost all your videos and have learned a lot. Thanks
I just posted my first mockup on CF. Already have 3 sales in 1 week in my new Etsy mockup store but I like also having an avenue to sell directly to a creator-only audience.
Congratulations on the sales
appreciate for sharing this with us, excellent video
Thank you for this. I am subscribed to both your channels.
ill definitely try that, thanks!
Awesome as usual, thank you Zen~!
wow, great video. thanks so much
I have to get inkscape, its just so useful. Thanks Crafty Zen, your videos are some of the best.
Brilliant, thank you so much (Young Zen knows what he's talking about so he's the guy to follow, oowee!) - will give it a go
you just convinced me on doing it
Nice vid thank you for sharing with us
Zentastic. Thank you!
Totally agree!! every POD sellers should have Plan B, C, D....
Thanks for the great video, you gave us a lot of info with websites and ideas 😊🎉
I've made some money on the POD field in last years but i think it's getting shity day after day i'm gonna do something else pod sounds easy for all the newbies and gtting oversatured and the plaforms and getting shiiter
Thanks Zen for the great video.
Thank you for this! Can you tell me which video it was of yours where you teach us NOT to upload the full size file - to just show a less quality image so it will deter theft of your high quality image?
Hello! I had a video on Crafty Stax that talked about having a rather small thumbnail, it might be this one? ua-cam.com/video/jUrwk1cvYgA/v-deo.html
Thanks as always for the great advice!
great content. ty
Another helpful video. Thanks for being awesome! Is there a site like CF where you can sell your photography?
Hello! Yes there is Adobe stock photo: stock.adobe.com
@@zenwatercooler Thank you!
TY!!! AWESOME
Nice vid, thanks Mr Cooler 😜
You have to be careful with Pixabay images. Direct communication with them informed me that a user cannot use the image as is but would have to radically alter it--for example, turning a photo into a vector.
Yes agreed - I always wonder how they can police that but yes selling Pixabay "as is" is not recommended!
Nice informative video.
When you offer digital downloads do they give it out for commercial use? Or restrict iit to personal use?
if nobody buys that how is it guaranteed?
CF pays you simply for uploading designs to the platform, even if none get sold. All creators get a cut from CF subscriptions.
Instead of showing a portfolio, what if I submit my very successful SVG shop from Etsy to basically duplicate it on Creative Fabrica? Will they mind or care?
Would love to know how you arrived at a sellers dashboard, please Zen.
It’s mine! Or one of mine anyways. I just edited out the sales figures.
@@zenwatercooler cool, thanks. I figured it was too good to be true to be able to spy on seller stats. 😁
Thanks Zen for another little gem to ponder! Just wondering, do you know of any restrictions as far as copyright goes on images downloaded from various sources and changing them to SVG to resell? Can you only do this for images that are in the public domain? I’m guessing that if you make changes (as you did here with the cats eyes) it’s all good. 🤷♀️
Also, how does it work when one uses multiple resources from CF to create new designs to sell on CF? For example, can one pick an image from CF and turn it into an SVG, and add text (from a font also sourced from CF) and upload it to CF as a new design to sell? Thank so much. 🥰
Yes these are great questions. This can be a grey area because it is ultimately someone's opinion on whether or not you have sufficiently taken any image and made it sufficiently different to create "original art" which is then no longer protected by the copyright. But for public domain, you can take the design and resell it as is, make it a SVG... you can do whatever you want with it.
For Creative Fabrica - the intention of the designs are primary for print on demand and/or physical products. They don't allow remixing of existing designs on Creative Fabrica to also be sold on Creative Fabrica. So I would recommend if you are going to sell on Creative Fabrica, you would want to find public domain assets or make your own (like creating SVG from photos). I would personally stay away from using CF assets to make more CF assets to sell. Hope that helps!
@@zenwatercooler very helpful and wise advice, Zen. I like to use CF resources and often use them as a base for assets in my own style. For example, taking the basic outline and adding my own artistic style to create new designs. It makes perfect sense however to steer clear of doing that for new CF designs. It didn’t seem right to me anyway, but that didn’t stop me thinking it might be possible. Thanks! 😻
Etsy requires GST for India, any another alternative
Yes absolutely, I would recommend the platform described in this video!
If you sell on cf, can you'd souse your own designs to sell on other platforms? H there is a commercial licence and POD licence on designs from of -then 'what if others buy and sell same designs?
I have been checking out Rebubble's dimension needs and was wondering, should designs be resized to each of the item dimensions or download one and put it on everything as I thought you showed in a video? Because some of the sizes do seem to be a bit odd. Example - socks are 5748x300 while a man's t-shirt is 3873x4814, a pin is 1000x1000 while caps are 2400x1140.
Yes that's a great question - basically you want to make the design as large as possible (like say 5000 x 7000 pixels) and then you can employ a pattern if you want on the weird stuff like socks and backpacks. Otherwise, it is often too time consuming to resize on 80+ products.
If I selling design on CF, can I sell (for example) this design on a T-Shirts on marketplaces like a Redbubble, Teepublic or Amazon Merch etc.?
Yes exactly - the designs in your store are yours and you can sell them to others, but there is nothing stopping you from also selling those designs on sites like Redbubble and Teepublic.
Thanks for this amazing video. Can i enhance a png file to high quality in inkscape?
Yes absolutely - you can open the PNG, trace to a bitmap and then make it larger, and then export that as a (new) PNG.
I submitted patterns to CF and got turned down. They state the designs don't mesh with their audience.
That is interesting feedback, I had not heard that. Do you mind me asking what types of designs you were showcasing that they didn't like?
Sad thing is this isn't guaranteed either. I've tried it.
😂😂😂 REDBUBBLE SUCKS!!!!!! I agree 💯 worst customer service ever!
Does Creative Fabrica have any restrictions with regard to AI generated art?
Hi there - as far as I know, there are no restrictions on creating and uploading AI-generated artwork to sell on Creative Fabrica.
Does CF allow you to sell images created with AI?
As far as I know, yes - I have not seen anything specifically saying that you cannot upload an AI-generated piece of artwork to sell.
Etsy can also suspend your account
Here’s a strategy: E A O.
