He asked if I would give him a few minutes and he would come over to our table. I never thought he would but he did. Not only that, he spent 15 minutes chatting with us. A real gentleman. He gave us his autograph and when I shook his hand it was putting my hand into a vice. A thoroughly decent man.
LIBERACE was the "Rolls Royce of Pianists"...without question. He was a gift not only to the US but to the entire world. What a privilege it is for us to even hear such an immense talent.
