The starter broke. Never did I say he made a pass. The fact that a top fuel team could have another boat brought in and rewire and put in the engine in 8-10 hours is amazing. Congrats to them!
Hey, you're dealing with a 7000 horsepower monster here. It's not always going to do what you want. Like I said before, it was probably just bad luck. Just because there only a few full passes doesn't ruin the event. The slower classes can be just as exciting. Like the Pro Eliminator class. Those guys are running 140 in an open boat... It wasn't anyones fault. Don't blame the teams, drivers, or the event its self.
The reason there were no full classes was due to the divide between Lucas Oil and SDBA. Go talk to them about and watch the next couple races and their boat counts. Will be the same or very close to it, and that divide will be to blame.

Well, when I posted this, they had the intent of coming back. And I agree, this race just didn't work out for the fuelers. Bad luck I guess?
