Lucky Penny Thoughts: This was an interesting series to start. I had no idea what it would take to take care of my Triops. Most important is using the correct water and making sure they are kept fed and their little habitat it kept clean. Follow those instructions to the "T" and you should be able to raise them.

I remember getting these for christmas one year when I was younger. I had set it all up and then we had to go out for like 2 days for an emergency. When I got back home they were huge!
Update - I have three hatch-lings so far. I will take video every day and keep track of the progress, then give you the 7 day video-log each Saturday. Sorry to keep you waiting, but they are so tiny you can barely see them. I needed the magnifying glass.

yeah when i had mine in 2019, the 2 larger babies of the adult ones i had ate the smaller one after i thought it was suitable to bring the small one to the larger ones after a long time separated
then we went on holidays and my cousin who was minding them accidentaly overfed them and they died

My childhood. Glad to have stumbled upon the channel again.
I never understand why so many of his videos always have a comparatively large proportion of dislikes compared to other big UA-camrs in that subscriber range. You can't please everyone but it seems like such a strange ratio, it's not just a few videos, it's pretty much every video. (I'm not including the more recent videos mainly of food items that have a paltry # of views compared to maker kits and whatnot, I have no interest in that and I guess others don't either) He never says offensive things and always gives great shots of the products, and will fully explain the directions - do people just not like how long they are? I think it's great they're so detailed, it helps parents setting up confusing toys. I'm an adult and obviously don't have or use most of the products he shows, but I find the videos very relaxing for some reason.

I always wanted to try those creatures out. I tried the brine shrimp. I thought I saw a small handful hatch but...a few kind of got bigger. Then they died :(

I had the same kit when I was about 10 in 2003. However, the kit only came with the eggs, instructions, and food, not all that fancy stuff. They get alot bigger than sea monkeys and they live for quite a while.

Si always wanted these type of shrimp, they’re so unique and look similar to horseshoe crabs
And horseshoe crabs are extremely old and haven’t evolved for a very long time
Can't wait too see them! By the way I use too do this with my Mom and twin sis it was very fun to watch them swim around! We all had a blast 😃

I got this for my son from Scholastic, and it was so much fun watching the Triops grow! We had 3-4 of them, but they died after about a week :( I still have more of the eggs and food to grow more, but it's been so long, I doubt they would still be any good...And honestly, it's a lot easier caring for newborn BABY than these little creatures!
