Boating Journey I bet they’re PSS’s ...we just went through the same thing ! I found the bad seal on our 4788 because it leaked so bad it over heated our engine due to no back pressure on the raw water cooling.... oh and anything below around 8 knots no leakage...
Boating Journey ...good luck finding one, live board is getting tight a lot more over here on the east coast too, we went up from a Carver 3607 to our 4788 this spring and we love it... they aren’t real fast boats but lots of room and good range if you keep your hands off pushing the throttles up, from what I’ve seen you have a lot of them on the west coast...

Whoa! We've been looking at 4788s. Might check one out in a week or so. Hard part is finding a liveaboard slip for it. Awesome yacht!
