I have news for you Yvette Moore, I have heard that this is not the chosson and kala, it is father and daughter, strange has it may seem, but if you have read other peoples comments, you would have seen all these comments about them being father and daughter, and later on a nother video came up called Gittie's Wedding, in this video she was dancing with a boy that did look a bit younger than the one in Eli's mitzvah tantz, and in Eli's mitzvah tantz, after he finished dancing with his daughter, he went to dance with the chosson, his son inlaw
I'm guessing this is her father, and she is a real daddy's girl. A chassidish couple would never dance like this. Even if the bride dances with the groom at the mitzvah dance, at most they will hold hands and it would be obvious how shy they would be about the physical contact. But with her father, a full embrace and emotional embrace like this is acceptable.
oh excuse me but that happens in my family. were very chasidish and my father held us girls like this. so yes it does happen in chasidish circles. maybe not all chasidish families. bec there are very many different types of chasidish. and all in between. so dont make a blanket statement.
