The oil is the problem with Z's temperature, not the radiator. You need to install an aftermarket oil cooler. A radiator upgrade is also a good idea always but oil cooling is the main problem.
@@SI0AX, I've heard that and thought about doing it myself. But I just assumed with a big enough radiator oil temp would be somewhat more regulated itself. I have an aftermarket mishimoto radiator, radiator fans, thermostat, and all the radiator hosing. I touge the car every now and then and the temp stays stable. Though, that's not as high intensity as a track in the sun mid-day would be.
@@z33hayden23 I heard that many people that have heat problems upgrade to the a bigger engine coolant radiator and don't solve the problem because the stock oil cooler is too small and too little oil heat is sent to the radiator.
I highly recommend an oil cooler if you are going to race hard in hot weather on a track because the oil temperature problem can cost you an engine if you don't pay attention.
Heat breaks down the oil and ruins it's vital lubrication properties.
@@SI0AX, Im going too eventually. But for now, it hasn't even went up in temperature when I've pushed it relatively hard. To be fair, the touge I run is only about 10minutes one way and I only drive that road at night so it's mostly cool out. I push the car in the day, but I dont want no weewoos🚔 on ma azz so I only do quick pulls. I also do a synthetic oil change every 4k.
@@SI0AXAlso, the 350z doesn't have a stock oil cooler, well, besides where the oil filter is. So it's more of adding on the part than changing it.

That’s a stock 350z interior they just painted the middle console black & a different steering wheel lol
Not similar to a 400Z at all. Besides the interior door handles but that’s always remained since 350s

@@chadou17with the nismo 1.5 LSD, can you get both rears into a complete drift if you wanted to? (Nothing to do with the vid) im asking for me, would a 1.5 LSD be good for donuts? (Even tho im not doing them. I want something that LOCKS up both rears better than the VLSD! Thanks
