Yep, I'm stuck on that part, too. Instructions say only Philips (+) and flathead (-) screwdrivers required... However, I was wondering if we required an additional power drill for that part?
I bought the TV stand version of VITTSJÖ series, which they all come with similar parts in different shapes and measurements (depending on the particular product).
I agree about the slight indent marking would have been nice to get started with the DIY screwing. I'm sure, Ikea didn't do that, because it gives you the option for the pure black side or the black/brown wooden texture. 😮💨

The drawer base doesn't come with screw holes? Wtf Ikea? Do you think everyone has a drill machine lying around. I mean the baseboard can only go one way, how hard could it have been to make four holes for the screws

I'm not sure if I didn't screw it right or it is just wobbly as it is.
I hate it when you put your monitor then it wobbles when you type on your keyboard.
Maybe perhaps its is just for a laptop table.
Used it for years.. it didn't wobble or make any sounds. Its very sturdy

there's no hole in that shelf....how do you do that? Can you show?
Just Mark the location of the screw in wood with a nail or awl. Or make a hole with a drill with diameter less than the 2x screws.
Hi! Does anyone know the exact measurements of the little shelf underneath the glass top? I can't find it anywhere :(
I want to put a 43 inch TV on it and a PS4 it is going to be around 18 kg (40lbs). It is okay? Or is it too heavy for this table?

Didn't see you how you held tiny screws and used the other pieces from the box.
I have been asked to install a range hood,first instruction is to remove base of cabinet. can this be done without removing cabinet from wall?
Nvm. I got it! You have to nark at least one hole and get it started so its easier to screw in the screws.
