Yes becoz it is basmati rice so 2 glass is enough. IF the rice is too old then add 2.5 or 3 .But 3 glass will be too much for any basmati rice.

If you are using sona masoori rice u need 4 glasses of water for 2 glasses of rice.But here I had used basmati rice,u already know that basmati rice cooks very soon and doesn't need more water.☺️☺️

Basmati rice is very delicate. It cooks very soon.So for 1 glass of soak rice 1 glass of water is enough.Otherwise it will becomes soggy

For 1 glass of soaked basmati 1 glass of water is enough,as u know basmati rice is very delicate.If u add more water it becomes soggy.So b careful.Also it depends on the quality of rice.If ur rice is too old u can add 1/2 glass of water other wise 1 glass is enough.For kolam and sona masoori add 1:2 glass of water for 1 glass of rice.
