Jeff Goldblum had 10 points put into charisma when he was born.
CHA 18 in DnD terms :p
He uses cheat codes on other tens to put.
I'm a professional jazz pianist. I love Jeff's playing. Love it. Very sensitive. Tasteful and thoughtful. Love him.
I’ve been in the world of music my entire life, I also hardly cry, but this song brought me to tears of raw tender emotion. This is one of the most beautiful songs I’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Thank you Jeff and the orchestra composed of truly brilliant musicians.
This is an original from miles Davis, sounds very similar and you can tell it’s a tribute from Jeff, it is a very beautiful song and it is beautiful to see Jeff’s expressions change with these heart moving sounds
@@BruhRools this is not an original from miles Davis, I mean yes he re harmonized the tune but it was originally written in the 1940s by Rodger’s and hart. It was an old show tune.
After that flugelhorn solo Jeff should have presented Till Bronner with a bouquet of flowers. Just beautiful!
I’m a Miles fan. Didn’t expect this from Jeff Goldblum, I really didn’t know. Awesome and incredible players!
Beautiful. What a wonderful treat! Thank you Jeff & Co. 😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
I didn't even know Jeff Goldblum was in a jazz band! This is one of my favourite things ever
He got his stat playing in local clubs in his hometown of Pittsburgh, PA! He is quite talented!
So beautiful music, thank you for sharing. And regarding Jeff Goldblum, let the man enjoy what he is doing, who can resist such a good music
Bro this is awesome. Never knew Jeff was a Piano player and one heck of one as that. Like damn that is some amazing talent.
Jeff Goldblum is an extremely talented pianist but Till Bronner is a truly amazing trumpet player. (and yes, I know the difference between a trumpet and a flugelhorn. I play and own both) This is ballad/jazz at it's very best. I wish I had been in the audience..
Till Bronner is the Kenny G of trumpet. Has all those albums of Bossa, slow jazz and Christmas songs. Awesome player. Love the stuff he did with the WDR Big band.
@@manofTao Please don't insult Mr. Bronner by comparing him to K Guh.
@@manofTao Kenny G is a fake jazz player
@@marciusize amen!!!
@@marciusize so is Goldbum tho so...
This song has an undertone of resignation which to me is always present in love relationships
Add Till Bronner's name to the list of immortals. What artistry. Truly awe-inspiring.
That did something to my soul that nothing has done before. Amazingly beautiful.
I only kinda like jazz but.... I never imagined how much Jeff Goldblum could, uh, ENHANCE it.
Is it just me or is his emotional investment in it just as priceless and as much a part of the performance as the playing??
So many awful, fakey ego-projects by actors.... Jeff Goldblum here not just playing competently but with the same emotional vulnerability and freedom he brings to his acting. Remarkable
Jeff Goldblum sure knows how to put a jazz group together. Listen to the artistry of these musicians. Goldblum has become a serious jazz figure over the last few decades.
Who knew music like this still existed.
Gosh, I don't even listen to jazz music, but have this on a loop. Amazing work folks!!!
As a trumpet player from years ago in school, growing up with Ferguson & Mangione...man this was a nice find...took me back to a warm place of high school, college, growing up....sweet
Such a lovely warm tone from that horn! Well done, gang!
It's Till Brönner!
if it doesn't sooth nothing will
@@marie-rosedaly4234 Like buttah! :)
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flugelhorn
@@corinnadoussier4424 They should give his proper credit!
Watching this made me forget about current events of late....and sent me to a place I haven't been since childhood, those moments when you're lost in imagination, in a different world.
OMG!!! Where have I been??? I just heard this masterpiece for the first time and it feels like heaven just fell on me. Till Bronner is magnificent!!! I am speechless! Jeff added just the perfect amount of sound to complete this. 10+ stars.
A i hahaha I m impressed with this phone stuff hahaha 🤣🤣🤣 ace you doing funny things to my phone hahaha 🤣🤣🤣 love it 😁🥰 ACE hahaha
This song was the ongoing theme for a Lenny Bruce documentary - with Rodgers and Hart even if they had a musical that is largely forgotten they had musical gems that will be remembered forever.
Jazz Music will never die at least 500 years or more
it's dead.
@Сий Господин Jazz will never die, it continues to evolve and influences all modern music.
@@laur-unstagenameactuallyca1587 just smells funny
The jazz faces are on point
Heavenly, transcendental, ethereal----these are just some of the adjectives that come to mind immediately.
OHHHH the coronet on this is SMOOTH and Silky. Jeff's Piano just adds to the smooth.... DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111
You are still one of my favorite character actors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!But play that funky music!
It's a Flugelhorn. Hence the smooth sound.
I think Jeff Goldblum takes acting roles now so that he has the financial security to do this. He seems to really love music
Smooth as silk on glass. Beautiful.
You rarely see a flugelhorn these days. It's perfect for jazz. As Till Bronner beautifully demonstrates.
I totally agree. That sound is just amazing!
Billy Joel uses a flugelhorn on Zanzibar. Saw it live a few years ago and it was one of the highlights of the entire show.
Jeff has no right to be as good as he is😂. I seriously love his choices throughout this tune. You can tell he’s extremely well listened
WOW! Even the raptors would stop trying to eat people and simply grab a seat in the audience and shake their heads side to side.
LOL
Odly specific comparison but strangely accurate also
💀💀💀
Jazz……..ahhhh, jazz finds a way.
Mr. Goldblum, Have you ever thought about coming to Houston, or especially New Orleans.... I would love to see this live!!! My Goodness, this is so Good!! No, Excellent!!!
Anastasia Parker he’s coming to Joan’s hall sept 20 I’ll be there!!
My son Matt directed me to this piece. Wow...does he know the ones that vibrate my soul, This one fills my heart and I feel on the edge of tears. Something about that flugelhorn.
Same!! Why do certain jazz tunes make me wanna cry!! Especially when I’m hurting bad inside
Beautifully, beautifully said.
Oh, my! I agree about the tears! Touched every cell in my body!! Totally shifts you into a place of deep peace🙌🏽🙌🏽🕊
You might like Palle Mikkelborg, especially working with Terje Rypdal. Their rendition of Angel Eyes is by far my favorite flugelhorn piece.
@@ekathe85 Also Chuck Mangione is very good at the flugelhorn.
Highly talented individual Mr Goldblum play is just the right touch
Rodgers and Hart, such a gorgeous song, such fabulous, sensitive flugel, everyone else out of the way but just enough. Congratulations Jeff & Co.
Totally smitten with each note🎶🎹🎺😍
Utterly amazing, how Fantastic
Is this Rendition
It's undeniable of the exquisite tone from flugelhorn! Great jazz piano too Jeff Goldblum. I'm a big fan of yours since long before the days of you and Forrest Whittaker on Lush Life!
This is a Sunday afternoon sitting in your fav chair with the newspaper and a glass of chilled wine kinda song.
One of my favorite standards.... Nice!
It does not get any better than this. Beautiful haunting song & arrangement played by great musicians
What a treat, God bless you all, Best always John Stefan🙏🎺🎷
My head just exploded... Jeff Goldblum plays piano?? Like THAT??!
😮 if Jeff weren't one of my favorite actors I would say every minute he spends away from playing the piano is A-minus.
Oh, and the trumpet player oh-my-God...😵 i died and went to heaven.
Story of my life...
When I first heard this I was mind blown. Such a beautiful piece of music and so incredibly well played. I have the JG LP with this track on it just sounds amazing.
The flugel horn player has a beautiful timbre.
Respect to Mr. Goldblum and the Mildred Snitzler Orchestra, I'm just amazed, what a performaance, wish I could have been there
Si Miles Davis hubiera estado en la audiencia, lágrimas habrían salido de sus ojos ante tan sonido exquisito del solo de Till Bronner!! ⚡🎶
This is just wow. Just wow. 🙏🏼
This is one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard! It brought a tear to my eye.
Absolutely stunning playing... love it.
Till on horn, and you, you sir on that piano.... sheer heavenly bliss..... Thank you, Gracias, Danke, Mange Tak, Arigato ♥♥♥♥♥
Such a beautiful piece of art.
very pure sound in all videos - nice!
Nice song. Well done boys.
That is absolutely the most beautiful and sexyest song I have ever heard. It never gets old!!! Sometimes, it even brings tears of joy and mixed emotions to my eyes. Great collaboration.
I love listening to Till Bronner!!!
Magnificent.
Very nice...
What a beautiful surprise. I didn't know that Mr. Jeff Goldblum was such high-level music. Here, share the stage with the Star Jazz, Till Brönner ...! Bravo
The horn 😮🤩🙏
Beautiful version of this great tune!
This is just such a beautiful romantic piece, the emotion clearly shows on Jeff's face.. Thank you for your music!
< What a Surprise !¡! Jeff a Musician,...and a GooD one !¡! Not bad for a Dino hunter !>
Maravilloso Jeff, wonderfull music.. Wowww :D
I’m a huge fan of Miles’ version of this song. I’m glad to hear this lovely version.
Bravoo mr Goldblum, touched my heart ..thanks, come to Brazil we love jazz down here.
I WANT TO WATCH THEM LIVE SO BAAAD
I'd like an hour of this
All jokes aside... This is an extremely beautiful rendition of this song
Burton Brothers Productions you should listen to Miles Davis’ rendition of this song. It’s so much better!
@@saudaje4625 this is basically the exact same arrangement as the miles. I actually think this one sounds just as good if not better.
@@aidanmcbride3780 if you say it’s better......you don’t really know jazz. You must get to know the history, the feeling of jazz. You can’t appreciate jazz superficially. It’s more than what you think you hear.
@@saudaje4625 That’s not true at all. First of all I’m actually a jazz musician albeit not a great one but I actually do know jazz. Saying that I like this version doesn’t mean I don’t know jazz, as liking something is a matter of personal taste. I think the main reasons why I enjoy this version more is due to the modern recording technology and I enjoy the horn players tone much more than miles. If someone says they like something better than something “classic” that doesn’t mean they are wrong because you can’t be wrong about how much you like something.
@@aidanmcbride3780 okay, I get it! You like the “modern technology” of the sound. Very superficial!! I don’t call myself an aficionado of jazz, but I am a person who appreciates jazz fervently. Technology can make you think you’re listening to something great, but you need to listen to the jazz creators. I’ve been listening to jazz since the days of Monk, Coltrane, Rollins, Mingus, Tyner. My ears tell me that Goldblum’s rendition is good...but Miles is better. I’m a very old jazz head. No one could ever convince me Goldblums rendition is as good as Miles Davis’ version. But if you like it, that’s your taste.
I'm absolutely here for the shots of beautiful young women totally transported by this
excellent musicians... bravo....loving this.
Thank's !!!! Jeff you are hands of gold !!!!
That was really good
I haven't picked up an album in years. I think this might the one to break that.
Amazing sound, great musicians
Jeff's best yet. He can play alright.

Holy cannoli this is fantastic!!
beatifully shot and lit also...amazing.....thaks Jeff and the Orchestra!
I just had one of the roughest nights of my life and listening to this brings joy to a broken heart and a shattered man. far beyond just a breakup, etc. and im in tremendous physical pain, but this? this helps. I wish one day to have 1/1000th the joy he has while he plays piano (or does anything else it seems, of course he has lots of money and is a naturally happy perrson in our society that is a combo for not experiencing too much suffering)
Awesome!
Fantastic.
This is so beautiful !
What a surprise. I never knew. Magnificent.
This made my night. Wow...love this
Jeff Goldblum should have played Ryan Gosling's character in La La Land you can't change my mind
"Jazz uh... finds... a way"
Jeff Goldblum in whiplash would be amazing
Now you're talking.
Agreed! Great thought.
No
Awsome. Thanks Jeff & MSO !
Yeah that's definitely a tune you gotta hug after
Now, that was very, very nice.
Stunning. Good social distancing too. Xxxx
So beautiful.
Magnifico
Wow!
I'd like to hug the sound engineer. Wow.....
Linda Ronstandt did this in th 1980’s. I loved it then and I love it now. Like I love Jeff Goldblum.
Till Brönner…. Best of the Best 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 together with Jeff legendary 🥰🥰🥰
