This is a great design, but as someone who has built over 100 raised beds, you'll definitely need some cross-bracing if you're going to use 1-inch boards. Otherwise the boards will bow and warp after a few years.
Have you ever had issues with wood rot?
I've built a few myself and it has always been a concern. I have always lined mine with pond fabric and included a drain hole.
I also agree with you on the wood bowing. I've seen it happen multiple times.
@@Morberis I use raw linseed oil to seal my beds. All wood is going to rot eventually, but in my experience a pine 2x4 will last around 5-10 years.
