Warren is just like keifer manipulating to get what he wants out of Kristina. Same way he would manipulated Kristine into forgiving him for hitting her. Usually boys that hit their girlfriends get if from somewhere. Either warren beat his wife which is a usual scenario or he hit keifer or both. Also sometimes boys with an overbearing mom take it out on a girlfriend or even the mother could beat the son. Or the mom could be emotionally abusive. I'm sure their are Just some bad apples. Sonny was the one that found out that Warren Abused Keifer from that point on, at least Kristina could tell who exactly hit her, it’s not Ethan, it’s Keifer, and that’s why the charges against Ethan was dropped because he did not hit Kristina, and Sonny shouldn’t Blame Ethan, he truly shouldn’t.
Kristina was stupid to stay with abusive Keifer, but he had no right to abuse her. The mom could have been emotionally abusive. I stopped watching during this period.
When someone is overcome with grief over the loss of their beloved child whom they saw highly of, chances of convincing them that their child did something of this magnitude is very unlikely. If you try, there'll likely be conflict. You're probably better off finding a way to walk away or change the subject.
