Well, the 700 is technically "better" than the 660. It has upgraded suspension, frame design has a lower center of gravity, with a larger, fuel injected engine. But that doesn't make the 660 bad, I love my 660. I think the 660 has better feeling ergonomics, it's a bit narrower at the tank area where your legs go, and just feels a bit less bulky. Still has plenty of power, and does all the trail riding I need to do just fine :)

Im about to get back into atvs. If I remember right there's no need to apply the clutch when shifting while in motion right?
it's possible but not nice on the components definitely recommend using clutch
