My first time in a Gyrocopter - Shobdon Airfest 24 - Auto Gyro UK

We had a fantastic day at Shobdon Airfield, the home of Herefordshire Aero Club when we visited their awesome Airfest 24 in June 24. Whilst we were there, Tom from Gyroplaintrain arranged for my very first Gyrocopter flight with Richard from Auto Gyro UK. It was really great experience and I can highly recommend this as a really great present, or treat for someone.

Gyrocopters occupy that space in Aviation for me between "would love to" and "no way mate". I know they are safe but nah, give me something with wings sticking out each side.

This was cool! I'm an American, right on the cusp of getting my private pilot certificate, so it's been cool seeing what aviation is like in the UK, and of course to get a look at this autogyro!

@@ThePhobicFlyer I've actually done it already! But there's some weird part 141 stuff going on that I honestly don't quite understand- but basically I have to finish my retake of my ground school, and then I'll have it mailed to me.
