Greg Dulli ages like fine wine... This is absolute Whigs, a tortured soul on a piano.
Of all the tracks on _In Spades_ , this one feels the closest to classic Whigs. Don't get me wrong, I love the whole album. But this track just soars in my heart. It would not have been out of place on _Black Love_ .
This is definitely the best song on this album.
And that's saying something!!!
royalslack reminds me of old whigs
This song is gold, but it just reminds me of seeing the Whigs live at The Crowbar in State College PA in 1999 juat a few days after Valentine's Day
This song is beautiful. I have a feeling it'll remain a staple of the Whigs set and my playlists for years and years....
Inconnu en France où seule la recherche dans l infini virtuel peut vous emmener ici sur un malentendu. Quelle chance alors.
beautiful and tortured, classic whigs, unbelievably perfect
Sad i had to wait until 2024 to get to know this band!!!🥰

You and me both!
Next time someone tells you there's no good music being made these days, play them this.
Whenever someone tells me there's no good music being made these days, I just laugh at them.
Then tell them ... "back in my day ..."
This one sounds like Bulletproof part 2 ❤️True masterpiece ❤️
I went back to the 80s nice ballads. Thanks guys

Viva La Rosser!
Viva La Rosser
Non capisco, questo brano lo portano in giro dal 2012 e lo mettono in un disco solo ora.
It's horrible that their bassist died not so long after the release
Guitarist, Dave Rosser. Very sad.
Their guitarist. The great Dave Rosser. RIP Dave
John Curly is, has been and continues to be the bassist.
