Don't know why it's so satisfying to see the Acousha Collectible process, but I do find it interesting and look forward to what you are buying and selling (partly because of your high standard?) Yes honestly many of the coins are beyond my financial reach, but I can just enjoy vicariously regardless. Thanks for what you do. Continued success.
It’s awesome seeing you guys get the opportunity to buy coins at bid or back of bid so it leaves room for you to pass them on to someone who will love them and make a living at the same time. Dealers near me price their stuff over CPG pricing, high retail. The nicer it is, the more spread over high retail they go.
Acousha Collectibles x Carat Coin, name a batter collab. Love these guys, love this business, and love this hobby. This channel is one of my absolute favorites. Thanks for the upload and God bless. Good luck to everybody in the giveaway!
Not much spread on the 1880 CC Morgans, same as the 1885 CC. I try to look for the highest grade I can in those Morgans because a lot of times it's just $100 to go from MS64 to MS65.
Nice! We appreciate you guys. I need that 85cc 65dmpl cac. I’d buy it for $3,450. Make you a quick $250 im in San Antonio… just saw the coin drop for $4,600! Hope you get it. Offer stands.
I'm impressed that you guys find wiggle room when buying from other dealers. I've known lots of shops that live or die by what others bring on to them. Nice pick ups as always. Thanks, guys!
Great video as always. I would love to find out what apps you use to look up the coins to determine price. I have a Austin Hutto signature 1986 s pr70 dcam in a icg slab i am try to figured its worth.
Fun videos for people that do know a little about coins and the market as well as complete newbs looking to learn. And a good lesson on what is good to collect. If its just a hobby of fancy and not for monetary gain it would be a blast. Or if it was for monetary growth over time, key dates and rarities would be the way to go in my opinion.
Beautiful acquisitions. I totally agree with the buying strategy of quality over quantity. It is also interesting to read your comments on each coin as you evaluate the asking price vs the recent comps to see if it leaves you room to retail it for a profit. I have a question, though: If you see room for profit on these coins, why didn’t the dealer who sold them to you? Why would he willingly sell you these coins at a price far below current comps? What is the business reason?
Some dealers like to return to cash faster than other dealers. Which just means the higher the price, the longer it sits. Some dealers like that approach, others want to make a profit quicker.
"Mind your business" That's hilarious. I've got to find one of these in the wild. Aw dang, saw my name on the comments picker, but not the one. Maybe next time. :)
Nice pickups from both shops. Especially happy you got that 1875 proof dime. Such a beautiful original coin with nice little toning. A little unfortunate on the 89-CC but that’s the market. Can’t control it. Still nice to see though. Y’all have a good night
Very cool coin and cool video. Last week, I tried going to a coin shop in my city and I was thinking I'm not going to bother again, but maybe I'll give it another try.
Good videos like always, the Buffalos you got from the interesting character of this video look great. I hope your channel keeps growing, you guys are the best.

& the inherent weirdness of the pieces😅q 😂.
@@goldcic Good point. Certainly that factor too.
It's fun to see the excitment you guys have talking about the coins. Keep up the good work!

I like knowing how much the Grey Sheet shows and how much I’m paying. The dealer has a margin but so do I. Thus the reason I am an Acousha Collector
That is some crazy stuff man, got me hunting crickets. Lol
Let's grow this channel.. you guys are awesome!!
Thank you for showing us how you do business, and the length that you guys go.
Carat Coin is a great name for a shop

"Mind Your Business" great motto for an American coin!
Wasn’t that a Ben Franklin quote? It is pretty awesome!
I wish Congress would mandate that motto be used on all current coinage! 😂😂😂
