En el metal siempre ha habido mucho pastelero, pero como bien dices son criminales para los que nos gusta el heavy de verdad. Puto metal del bueno. Saludos
Yeah, they're live shows in LA in the very early 80's were intense. Mainly small venues, no more than a few hundred people, but their show was better than ANY band around!
@George Lynch Dixon Everyone prefer the original line up but only as musicians...not as personalities...they were jealous of him Blackie made them famous making money what Rody Piper, Chris Holmes done after WASP ??!! Nothing...Holmes only talent was to bang Lita Ford...only Johnny Rod and Frankie Banali (RIP) had good words...ok he was a bad ass but had to respect who brought you into fame...
W.A.S.P. never got the credit they deserved. They had some of the best music and best lyrics around. They were awesome and still produce some of the best metal around.
On a long car trip from Kazakhstan to Russia I dug out WASP's Krimson Idol to listen to smth I used to listen to 15 years ago. Again and again, this album shocked me and shattered as it rocked my brains throughout the trip. Music, drive, excellent vocal and arrangements mixed with old-school guitar solos and live drums made my little piece of happiness and now I am a re-knowned old WASP hair metal fan.
Great song from a great band off THE greatest album EVER. Sleeping In The Fire is THE most underrated ballad EVER being that it is THE greatest ballad EVER!!! I have spoken!
Somewhere in 2006..I remember I discovered UA-cam through a community website, which was then something like facebook for people from former Yugoslavia living abroad. I'm 40 and was there when they put this out, and it still gives me inspiration and hope to this day. If it wasn't for Wasp and others like them, I would have been a failure. Goosebumps every time I hear it That is what makes a good song.
Wasp was my first metal concert. Saw them way back on the 84-85 tour. This really takes me back to that day. They played with Krokus and Helix! saw them in Sacramento, CA.
even roope latvala guitarist from finnish trahmetal band stone loved W.A.S.P I read his book that told the story of stone. In that book he told how he went to a W.A.S.P consert and blackies fucking balls were out of his leatherpants he said it was shocking and awesome at the same time.

Pretty much the heaviest live band during their early days.. of the 80s that is
Blackie is a vocal powerhouse
