So refreshing to see a 60 kept relatively standard without the ARB catalog thrown at it, and without a massive lift and 35 inch tyres on black wheels. Loving it. Loving the van (you guys might have convinced me to do the axle swap on our 74 Viscount). Loving the first travel vid with the combo and your little family. Very inspiring for me with a 89 Pajero and Viscount and 20 month old daughter. Looking forward to the next instalment!
Thanks! We do love the original look of the 60. It makes us happy to hear that we’ve inspired you. Hopefully we’ll see you on the road with your setup, we love seeing other viscounts at the camps.
Cracker first video back guys, excellent work! Rough start for the drivetrain though oof... Sunset through the Boab trees was just sensational 🤌 I'm working on getting out there this summer in my '83 Patrol shorty and pop top Franklin, so this video is both timely and super motivational! Thanks for bringing us along
Wow. Can’t believe my old jellopy is still going strong! I had the pleasure of owning that hj61 for a few years. I believe it’s been through a few hands since but still on the road. So cool to see. Awesome vid guys! 😊
@@AsWeWander looks exactly the same as when I built it! When I first bought it, it had bro dozer big fat tyres and rims on it with a bull bar ect. I stripped all that crap off and sourced original parts. Bumpers, rims , visor ect. Looks like someone removed the drawer system I built for it tho. I can tell it’s the one because the dog chewed the boot lid handle. Glad it’s in good hands 🙌🏼.
haha well i'm glad you came across us. hes in very good hands and thanks for getting it back to orig. we've sourced quite a few bits to get the interior back to original, almost there now@@andymagahy1421
I love how your presentation is so laid back - you both have a calm and relaxed way of talking and the music is so harmonious with the beautiful photography. Jess always look so lovely in the quiet and peaceful shots with your sweet little girl. Keep up the good work!👍
Hi guys. Your kid is so cute. Clearly she will seek the great outdoors independently when she flies from the coup. So many question, hows the fuel economy when you are towing? Any issues with the caravan? How is power when using the induction cookers, drain, recharge from solar? I hope these questions generate some more content in future videos. I get what you mean about being on the mud flats and the great expanse...magic. Great videography BTW.
Thank you! she is the best little travel buddy and we love that we can bring her up like this. heaps of great question there and i do plan on making some videos about this stuff. The van has been great and we havent had any issues with it the fuel economy is at 18.3 litres every 100 (at 80kph) but we've just install a nomad valve body so that should drop down to 16 litres every 100. The induction does hit the battery bank pretty hard so we added another panel on the roof and a fold out blanket that takes our solar input to 900w and because we love cooking on the fire we're coping quite well. thanks for watching
We’re loving the travel vlogs! Creating them and watching others 🙌🏼 we need more long form content in our lives. The best camps! It’s a different experience camping on the mud flats
I might have enough footage for an interior video but we didn’t change much and we’ll be doing a full tour of the van once we’ve got a few things sorted
Guys these shots through out this video are stunning 😍 loved all the drone shots and B- roll. That first lookout over Lake Argyle looked insane. Looking forward to more. P.S I have rice paper rolls on my dinner list now thanks for the inspo. 🩷

So good to watch you guys, don't have a 200k set up and yet your filming and videos are awesome
Thanks! we're glad you enjoyed watching. Yeah we've learnt a lot about what you dont need to travel and prefer a simple setup
Aren't 60series worth 200k these days? 😅
Loved it guys!! Stunning videography.
Thanks guys! It’s so good being back to shooting travel content.

Will there be anymore build vids guys?

swimming is safe or not?
Swimming is safe in some places but always be extremely cautious because it could be all over if you jump in a swimming hole with a croc in it 🐊
