Thank you very much for your clear explanation and demonstration of threading the machine. I just got mine and after having the Huskylock 936, this is so much easier to thread. I commend you for the way you presented this. I watched other videos and their hands were in they way and I had no idea what they were doing, or what they were talking about. OH my goodness!!! Thank you SOOOOO much! I'm embarrassed to say that I've had my machine for 2 years now and am just now using it because even though I took a class where I purchased my machine, I couldn't get it to work right. You video is so much better than the DVD that comes with it. You should get a bonus check from the company. You're awesome!
Brittany, thank you SO much! I have watched several threading videos that left me frustrated but yours is the only one that made sense! I always got stuck on the lower looper but you explained it in such excellent detail that I finally get it! Thanks again.

Not sure if you know, but that needle tool you have to hold needless while changing them has a needle threader on the opposite end. Thank you for the videos! Feeling more inspired to get this bad boy

I have had 2Viking sergers you must not be able to wear them out. My first I used until the 910 computerized version came out. Sold the first one for a good price to a friend and I think it is still working. My 910 I purchased I think 2004 or earlier and it still is working like a dream. Most of my friends have servers but want to use mine for a couple of stitches (flat lock and rolled hem) on mine because theirs do not do as pretty a stitch as mine. Love, love, love my Viking serger.

Where should the needles be?
I have the Husqvarna Viking S21 Serger machine. I have to watch the video every time to change threads or re-thread. Your video of the S25 is threaded basically the same as mine, however I've had to rewind to check how you thread the upper looper. On this model, it looks as if you used 2 upper loopers instead of one for the 4 thread overlock stitch. Please advise if there is a difference between the 2 models pertaining how the upper looper is threaded. Also, apparently I've been threading the needles wrong after they pass through the first 2 points. That, I have right. It's threading them behind the bars that gets me every time. The video on the S21 is not as clear as your instructions. I plan to make the adjustment per your instructions immediately on threading the right and left needles. I plan to watch for your coverstitch video as soon as it comes out.
laverne cady hi! I’m sorry, I wish I could give you info about the difference between threading the two models but I’ve never used or threaded the s21 so I can’t say. I’m glad seeing how threading the needles were helpful. And I’ll be uploading the coverstitch video next week! Thanks for watching!!

Thats awesome! I believe most Vikings are sold through dealers, but try looking online. You may be able to find dealers that sell them online. And also some Joanns have Vikings dealers in their stores.

Sue McAvoy you’re welcome! Those were the default. I usually leave them on the default settings for the fabric I’m using unless I’m getting a wonky stitch then I’ll adjust it.
Thank you! Can you share what your standard settings are? I just got this machine and after re-threading and messing with tension I cannot get it. Either my loopers are too loose or my left needle is too loose

Okay, before I Marie Condo my machine, I’ll give it another go. Thank you. It might be too much serger for me. It’s so complex.
I do have a question. I have a pattern for a T-shirt that calls for a 1/4 seam. Can I use the 4-thread overlock and not the cutter? I can't afford to cut anything off unless I add to the pattern.
Can the needle specified for this machine (El x 705) be used for both woven and regular knit fabrics when sewing in the overlock and cover stitch modes?
Great series on the Husqvarna S25, Brittany! It's really making me want one.😍 Do you always use thread that matches your projects? And, I realize this question jumps ahead-but-do you use the coverstitch feature a lot?

Hey girl do you have a pop-up that says "Warning, overload, please wait!" I just keep getting that pop up and dont know how to fix it , I already tried on and off, uppligibg it , cleaning it from oil to dust free and making sure everything is threaded right , I'm just so upset that it just not working , please help if you know,,,, thank you
My yellow needle is threaded correctly but doesn't make a stitch. If you look at the threads after sewing, all of the threads are connected as normal, but the yellow thread is just straight. It does stitch through the fabric, but it doesn't stay. Does anyone have any suggestions?
