Fantastic stuff. It’s great to see how you break the challenge down into logical steps. I find that’s half the problem when I’m looking at a “blank canvas.” Can’t wait to see it come together.
Once you have the the item broken down into the components, it then becomes "easier". The trick, for me anyway, is the breakdown. Thanks for watching and your continuing support.
You make it look soo easy I still have trouble getting things into proper scale. Thanks for sharing your talent I received my copy of your book and I am half way through. ✌☃✌
Holy-Cow!!! I'm still a noob, so continuing to see your work is a first for me and everything you do is just stunning!! (total face-palm - when I had the pleasure of meeting you I had not seen your work....DOH!!) Thanks for the video's, so well done, I'm really getting lots of great building info and appreciate your style of showing and explaining things!!! Take Care, Bill
Great job so far! Looking good and hope to see more of the process. Side note, might be time to get your ring resized. Looks like it's blocking off circulation it's so tight. ha ha
Great video, it’s really helpful. I was wandering how do you know which styrene dimension and thickness you will need? I mean, I’ve seen it been used on the models as a way to create details or like you did for dioramas. I checked on eBay, however there are so many different types and have no idea which one should I buy.. 😅
Over time I have quite the large collection of sizes and shapes, basically an entire display rack!!! Once you do a few projects you begin to know which sizes and shapes you'll be using most often. I might suggest going direct to Evergreen, looking around their catalog and ordering direct?evergreenscalemodels.com/
Hey Greg. The foam core can be found at nearly all arts and crafts stores...Michaels, Blick, etc. I actually purchased these boards at my local Fred Meyer/Kroger store in the stationary/art supply section. If I recall, they were about $2-3 per?
So many great ideas it gives me the "I can do it" mind-set. So thanks again Rick for another brilliant episode.
Very welcome
Simple yet mind blowing effects with styrene and foam board. The rolling door and the vents are brilliant.
Thank you very much! I was relieved when it all worked out!!!
I like the change in color of the stars in your intro.
Subtle change, glad you noticed.
Very nice 'how-to'. It was great the way you explained your thought processes. Thanks for that, and for the entire walk-thru.
Glad it was helpful!
Love the work on this scene, Rick, the ventilation holes on the wall are simply a great detail, I got amazed how easy you made them
Thank you very much!

Great videos! But maybe time to change the title of the channel?
Thanks for watching. On the other issue....we'll see? I have been using the name for a very long time.
@@RickLawlerPropaganda Don´t change it Rick. Propaganda is the sole domain of no entity.
