Its frustration how many people cant be bothered to support even bands they really like. Bands that can not survive without said support. Like they are entitled to the work and dedication of these artists, and that in the end, its all optional. I blame our society and capitalism in general
@katya.g524 Capitalism doesn't value independent artists as a society inherently. They literally can not pay their bills while devoting themselves to the job of artist without straight up just quitting the art to work at some corporate job or other more valued profession. Art is not profitable product or valued the same as making spreadsheets for insurance companies. Thats the design. I didnt say the reason TPC broke up was bc of a lack of support even. But I bet the grind wasnt worth it for them which factored into it. A healthier society would take art very seriously and value it, so that artists could exist without financial ruin. Not just being "optional" or "entertainment" for your expendable income that most dont even have anymore...bc of predatory capitalism. Keep defending this s***hole by all means. Just dont be sad when the only option for art becomes Taylor Swift re-releasing old albums
