I love this channel. I wish I could find a channel as instructive on regular blueprint commands as this channel has been on shaders. Not just explanation, but the mind expansion that happens here, where I get suggested uses that I might not have considered.
Damn i really love your videos, im learning so much shader stuff with them. Thank you for taking the time to make this awesome content. Fell in love with the fresnel one.
Really nice tutorial, oneminus is one of those that by themselves are not that cool but combined with other stuff you get really crazy stuff, ty for demystifying it ^^
If you just want to raise the black part of a texture there's also a node just called "raiseblacklevelsbypercentage". You just pulp in a value to raise it by and it does waht it says

Really glad to hear it Rapol :) I'm hoping to build up a huge database of videos so I can raise an army of UE4 Material nerds.
Love the osrs soundtrack in the background! :)
So do I! Haha I need to find a source for the -entire- soundtrack as I only have 2 hours of the absolute classics.

Any time! It’s also a great node when combining textures in specific ways - photoshop blend modes do this a lot
Nice one!

Thank you so much. Very valuable for me
It inverts it. Got it.
Only if it's within a 0-1 range, yep!
1-x I was looking for :DDDDD 0:23 second just watched but I pressed LIKE :DDD
and subscribe...... coz I like SHORT videos with NO introduction
INVERT
Great! 💗
You are :) :) :)
Hii can you make a tutorial on a football field grass one with texture and one with grass model :).
Hmm. But what is the difference between using the OneMinus Node and Multiply by -1? 😅
Multiplying by -1 will invert the number around 0, so 1 becomes -1 and 0 remains 0. Oneminus makes 0 become 1, and 1 become 0.
@@PrismaticaDev Ah nice. Thanks for the clarification, now I understand it 👍
Noice.
Cheers moite!
As long as your texture is linear. In SRGB, things get a bit more complicated
I'm sorry, but with my "like" the likes count becames 666. We need more likes to prevent something bad happens!
