This is wrong on last step. Rest of the procedures is okay. In that conductivity meter there are two sensors which is captured the exact reading. But this video he put only on single sencor.
FInal reading will be the inital value of the distilled water subtracted from the filtrate measured value.

why do we discard the first 10ml?
I think it is in order to discard any floating non abrasive matter that can add conductivity to the test
