The voice actor for Tony in this series is great. He doesn't sound exactly by Downey, but it's close enough, and he gets the speech pattern perfect. Same for the actress who does Natasha.
You're not the only one who didn't think Tessa voiced Val. To me it didn't sound anything like her and I was surprised when it was actually her name in the credits.
Between this and some of the other episodes, I suspect several actors kind of forgot how their characters' accents sounded. Or maybe were just too busy to replicate it.
Loved the Wacky Races/Death Race episode. There's actually a bunch of games that are similar to this, the Carmageddon and Twisted Metal series of vehicular combat. As for similar race tracks there's different Hotwheels and Trackmania games among others.
I wonder if the story had been reworked from what was originally planned since last season it kind of seemed like her episode would have included the infinity smasher thing to destroy the stones, but no sign of it.
My guess is the same way the season finale showed Peggy regaled in her stealth suit and the situation similar to Winter Soldier without showing her moment with the rest of the Avengers. They show the Avengers scene but, well, not everything. I guess we have to imagine Tony and Gamora finding the stones and destroying them, with only that scene with Eitri melting Thanos' gauntlet as the payoff.
I know we’re ahead of your releases but this whole season has been an absolute treat. Every episode has been enjoyable to mind blowing of what is even happening.
A few of the big voices have changed like Stark, Cap, Gamora and Widow (voiced by Lake Bell who also voices Poison Ivy in Harley Quinn), but most of the voices are being done by the MCU actors. I continue to be surprised by the names I see in the credits returning for these.
Finally we got the lost episode of Season 1. Overall, pretty decent origin of the Destroyer of Thanos with cool racing scenes, but it’s kinda weird that Tony was more of the focus instead of Gamora
Keep in mind it wasn't originally meant to be a Gamora episode at all. That's why when the Watcher chose her last season, he had to clarify he didn't mean Stark.
Just looked at IMDB and this episode was co-written by.... Jim Starlin!!!? If you don't know, Jim Starlin _created_ Thanos and Gamora in the '70s and wrote the vast majority of comics they were in through to the late 90s!
Tony is the one man in the multiverse who could probably convince the Grandmaster to start a democracy. Not for the people, but because he'd have allot more fun doing capitalism.
The What If? Party Game. Kinda like Mario Party for the MCU. Included games: - Sakaar Chariot Race (4p) - Happy Hulk Hogan Smash (2p) - Multiverse of Ultron (4p sidescroller) - Dance Dance Watcherlution - Beathammer Mjolnir - Groot, Miek, Korg - dozens of mini games - …and more! Pre-order for Christmas 2024 release!

Mick Wingert has the Tony Stark voice down pat. It was Tessa Thompson doing the voice for Valkyrie. I liked this episode but my rankings through the first four episodes would be Ep. 1,3,2 and 4.
I've recently come to see Tony's egotism as a defense mechanism. If you look at his father's emotional abandonment, the early death of both parents, as well as his lifelong social isolation caused by both his family's socio-economic status and Tony's intellectual prowess which, while it accelerated his academic process, it also removed him from a normal peer group. Gifted students often have maladaptive behaviors, so it would almost be surprising if he had a personality that ~wasn't~ screaming, "LOOK AT ME! VALIDATE ME!" Though his ingrained arrogance never fully faded, his character arc from Iron Man 1 to Endgame was great.
I thought the first 3 were kind of meh, but this one was a step up. I thought, well maybe because it was a leftover from last season, but the episodes after this one are even better.
I love that the Watcher basically opens by saying "Totally forgot to tell you this story last time, my bad."
Jeff Goldblum is always amazing, but he’s pure MAGIC in this episode. My smile never left my face for a single second of this one
I'm going to be quoting, "I'm melting, melting. Ooh, I think I like it," forever. LOL
Tony had a Santa hat in episode 3, when Happy is calling around, he calls Tony as mall Santa.
Ahhhhh yeesss. Welp.

Didn’t Tony’s VA play the character in “Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes” (which took some early MCU inspirations)? Or did I mix that up?
"Tony Stark! Built this! On an alien planet! FROM SCRAP!"
There's just nobody on the planet like Jeff Goldblum. Been a huge fan of his since the movie The Big Chill back in 1983, and of course 1986's The Fly.

1. Strange Supreme
2. Infinity Ultron
3. Hank Pym/Yellowjacket
4. Marvel Zombies
5. Prince Killmonger
6. Collector
7. Grandmaster
8. Red Skull
This hasn't just been a great season of Marvel, it's a great season of TV period
I love over all this weirdness the only things Tony care about is if Earth won and if Pepper is okay that part melted my heart 💜
No stick required :)
Who but Jeff Goldblum could sell "I'm liquefying, and it feels goooood"?
When tony reference " demon in a bottle" that was a Easter egg iron man comic of Tony fighting his demons drinking
I didn't even think of it, but I *definitely* would pay for a Sakaarian Speedway game that's just Marvel-themed MarioKart 😁
Demon in a bottle, the line he uses with Valkyrie was the title for the comic run iron man 3 was loosley based on

Lake Bell is great in Harley Quinn. That whole show is hilarious.

Keep in mind it wasn't originally meant to be a Gamora episode at all. That's why when the Watcher chose her last season, he had to clarify he didn't mean Stark.
The Watcher also says upfront here that she was a player in another’s story before she joined the GOTM, so…
I see you in that "Normies" sweater!
In reference to Die Hard being a Christmas movie(which I totally agree on), the paper floating all around at the end is *meant* to symbolize snow❄😉
Die Hard is 100% a Christmas movie.
Just looked at IMDB and this episode was co-written by.... Jim Starlin!!!? If you don't know, Jim Starlin _created_ Thanos and Gamora in the '70s and wrote the vast majority of comics they were in through to the late 90s!
"Demon in a Bottle" was an Iron Man arc in the comics tackling his alcoholism.
Tony is the one man in the multiverse who could probably convince the Grandmaster to start a democracy. Not for the people, but because he'd have allot more fun doing capitalism.
The Grandmaster is so vain, he probably thought that song was about him . . .
I hope we get more Iron Man episodes in what if i wanna see whwt if Iron Man fought the ten rings that could be a great story to tell
It's Iron Man Ragnarok, Mad Max, Fast & Furious, and Mario Kart all rolled into one😁🏎🚗🚙
My Xbox One is getting a workout with all these episodes🎮
Id love to watch intergalactic NASAKAAR.
I see what you did there and LES GOOOO
Ba-dum tissshhh!
(Also, yes.)
Tony went full Macross!!!
Jeff Goldblum as the Grandmaster is proof that sometimes the greatest creative decision is to just let Goldblum... go full Goldblum 😂😂
The What If? Party Game. Kinda like Mario Party for the MCU. Included games:

Pre-order for Christmas 2024 release!
Sadly, the Widows Web platformer may not be included due to legal entanglements with Nintendo. We apologize for any inconvenience.
I WANT IT! I would make it myself, but I'm pretty sure the Marvel-owning Mouse would destroy me 😂
@@KBRoller Go ahead, I’ll protect you! I have a law degree from the University of Wikipedia. It’s totally legit.

This one was great! Loved seeing another Tony-led story.
And one where he actually survived.
That episode was just plain fun. LOL
Thought of a better way to say it. It's literally an action thrill ride. LOL

This episode was just a whole lot of fun
Die Hard is not a Christmas movie, Die Hard is a Bruce Willis movie -Bruce Willis
This race really reminded me of the one in Spy kids
This new season of what if is awesome. But where did you get your Jedi necklace
How to solve Daddy issues - use Melty Stick.
Melty stick solves a lot of problems tbh
Jeff Goldblum is a national treasure
The melty stick is very OP and it makes me wonder why they didn’t use it on Infinity Ultron
It's one hell of a weapon
Bruce willis said its not a Christmas movie. But he's wrong
I do the same thing, not watching the beginning credits. I know too much about VO actors.😅
Do you think they even script lines for the Grandmaster or do they just tell Goldblum what the scene is about and let him Goldblum it up?
Die hard is a Christmas movie
if you wanna play a racing game like this check out split second it was awesome fun
I thought the first 3 were kind of meh, but this one was a step up. I thought, well maybe because it was a leftover from last season, but the episodes after this one are even better.
The second half of this season is 🔥
This, second half of the season is a huge ramp up. Big up with the Captain Carter / Nat episode.
Not NASCAR...NAS-SKAAR!!
No, it’s NAS-SAKAAR… ;-)
I'm not afraid to say it: Die Hard is a movie /set/ at Christmas, but it is not /a/ Christmas movie.
Well good for you you're wrong
This exchange made me giggle
Heathen!
