Nice to see you back. I have missed your regular videos. I grew up in Northern Alberta and my brother was an operator out of Ft. Nelson for a few years for Petro Canada. I spent 3+ years in Ft. McMurray the largest Newfy city outside of Newfoundland. Love watching your trapping techniques as they are very similar to ones I used and learned from some of the local native people.
I see you guys still have some nice spruce left in my trapping area they cut em all a they re cut em once there big enuf to saw a 4 by 4 . They will probably never let us keep a lynx around here it’s a shame cause there’s so many of them . Love ya videos .
lynx go in cycles so they should open at least when they are in the top of their cycle they will only starve out or move anyway. i saw you guys have to use those lynx exclusion traps for marten and fisher from trapping today's channel, a lot of country burnt up here this year
Good to see another video from you Jason. its pretty crazy that the fire is still burning. that was a very nice Moose my mouth was watering haha. take care and all the best Jason
Jason, you’re the only person I know that can make potatoes, carrots, and a piece of chicken look like a five star meal!!!Nice Moose!! Hopefully you’ll get some serious rain in the future. Good seeing you take care 👍
That fire is going to jump back up if you have another dry summer, hope it doesn`t get to your line Seems funny to be watching you trap while it is already "beer on the deck" time
Hi Jason bit behind to contact you did not get a nod from u tube ,but hey always good to catch up with you,you always manage to convey how it really is Ineed to dress up to watch your vids ha ha ha! hope that fire,if it kicks off again does,nt hit your trap lines.hope you have a good rest of season, take care and stay safe till next time bud
Great footage. You'd think the forestry service would get in at those hot spots. They are easy to spot with a helicopter. What if you reported them? You guys need a wet summer. It boils me when I hear all the sun seekers complaining about a drop of rain. You wouldn't see that moose if you was looking for him. Nice quarters. See you down the trail.
Greetings Jason. I bet your chin felt better when it quit hurting Lol I could feel the sting from here. What a dandy moose. You ever find any sheds when they start dropping them? Take care, Thanks for the ride along.
Man I love your videos. Always something interesting going on.
Always enjoy your videos, thank you.
That's crazy the fire is still smoldering. Hope you get some good spring rain. Thanks for taking us along

How about cutting a fire break?I imagine you could rally some troops and then coerce a dozer or two and the cabin would be secure.
2 1/2 hour drive to get out there, government probably give ya a fine if ya did that, pretty close to communism here in Canada lol
Is that a wolverine cap Jason ?
yes sir, a guy from Alberta made it for me.
@@bcnewfie494 it's perfect for ya it's one you caught ? Tanned it ? Too many questions ? lol. An ole subscriber from Louisiana.
That fire down below is crazy.
I don't like those damned ground fires. Burn for years sometimes.
Nice seeing the moose 🫎
Best wishes Brother
Unreal how that fire is still going. I hope your cabin stays safe.
What brings more money the lynx or the wolverine? I'm assuming the wolverine.
