The Shockwave Jet Truck at Thunder Jam 2011 at Thunder Valley Raceway, Oklahoma

Two things to watch for in this video besides the truck, the windows in the building behind the Shockwave and, the crowd of people between the building and the track.

I've been following this guy ever since I was 7 or 8. He's a legend in my mind, especially his dad Les Shockley. I'm so bummed though that he hasn't been at the airshow I attend for a couple years now, I miss him. I remember his old body frame which was yellow, red, and orange. He's an awesome guy to talk to as well, anyways I wish he'd do more airshows again:(

@26Thelaxdude I thought it strange too that he only did the early show and the late show, skipping out on the evening show...money might be getting tight for this beast. While the jet-train cars were selling t-shirts and souvenirs, Shockwaves' area was rather sparse, just the hauler, tow vehicle and Shockwave. Also notice on the sleeper shell : "Sponsor Wanted" :(

i saw him wreck out at Westover Air Reserve Base a few years back...but since the jet teams have been cancelled by the military, jet trucks/cars/etc and other acts have been getting raped with calls for bookings
