Spamming kill moves you do not track is not a good look for you, Namek aside, the practice range is your friend predictably land hooks on the moving bots and you will probably have good enough prediction to land hooks in games. Alternatively try the scientist he lives to engage up close, (if you can stand working with a 'monkey') or Symetra or Torb, they do not have the same aim requirements. Maybe give Junkrat a try and lob those shots from better angles. Improvise adapt overcome good luck and have fun.
He’s hooking, looking into a direction so the enemy doesn’t get caught on something which would break the hook, then flicking into the direction he wants the target to be at before his hook pulls them all the way. It helps to get a target around an obstacle
Any tips for a Roadhog newbie? I'm constantly landing hooks but I see you're able to one shot Mei, Reaper and Lucio easy. When I do it they get away with a sliver of health left. What am I messing up with the one shot?
Always prefire before hook to full kill enemy, especially when it’s 250 hp or enemy tank, but in some better situations don’t do it, hook immediately. Use heal when you now that you gonna take huge damage, like when u in sig ult or when you opens for hitscans. And also good position and mechanics what to do when and where, but you will learn it while playing hog, and also don’t feed and be ready to swap at anytime
You could not be any more wrong. He was, but if he has something negative to say he mostly always (as far as I know) keeps it to himself and chat. Only reason why he gets avoided is cuz he only plays hog. Hog is not good.
Not even close! Before cyx, harbleu was the best roadhog player but cyx took that title easily. He literally makes harbleu rage quit and switch because cyx is that good. Cyx averages about 14k-20k within one round not even the whole game and by the end has about 50-70 elims with a hook accuracy of 70-80% where the average hog player in every rank has about a 53%. Cyx is a god at roadhog kid

make sure you are stepping forward into them so ur gun does max dmg after u land the hook
when you hook, walk forward and shoot then melee. try to not move your crosshair after hooking as the crosshair straightens out after hooking
